Topic: gmail adressbook how does it work?

Does anyone have a gmail account?  I can't figure out how to retrieve email addresses when I want to compose an email.

I just push the compose button and when it says "To" (recipient or whatever) I type in the beginning of the name and it gives me options in a drop box. If I have more than one "jen" then I can figure out which one it is to go to, like Jiffymouse, etc. I click on the name. It is easier than scrolling through my whole contact list.

i have a number of members that I need to send the same message to.  Is there a way to do that without typing each and every address separately?

I never do mass mailings. If I want to send something to 2 contacts I just copy them onto the original. So maybe someone else can help you out.

If you click on the "To" after selecting Compose, it will bring up your contact list and you can place a check in the box in front of the contacts that you want to send the email to.  You can also create a Group if you frequently email say a newsletter or the like.  Here is a link that is quite helpful in explaining how to do that:
