is the bridal spirea white?  My white spirea has bloomed and so has the forsythia.  Sad to say my daffodils are just about over and it's been mostly too cold to enjoy them.

Yes it is, it's the spirea you sent me a couple of years ago.  It is starting to get large enough to really look good.  It's to bad everything is covered in snow right now.  The 12 inches has ruined all the spring stuff.  I won't even get any plums because of this.  The plum tree had just bloomed out really well.  my little forsythia had just bloomed too.  I hate these late snows.  They mess up everything.  Not to mention the two new roses I had just put in.

The tree smells wonderful.  I can't figure out what kind it is because I don't think bradford pears smell that good.  The spirea doesn't have a fragrance.

Beautiful!

Wondering if the tree is a dogwood? :ScratchHead:

It's not a dogwood.  The flowers resemble honeysuckle and smell good.

Thank you.  I'm not sure if it really is that pretty or if we just forget what spring looks like.

and here is my volunteer rose.  the plant came up last year, and here is the rose that showed up a few days ago. it is staying pretty.
the surveyors flag was there to mark where i was going to put a different bush.  i left it to mark where the volunteer is.  it makes a good size marker.

My peonies are blooming too.  The red only had 2 flowers this year but the white has more.  Sometimes more sometimes less.  I think they're very much influenced by winter weather.
