an update on the fox scarf, which is meant to be wrapped around the neck with both ends in front, but vera decided it was too hot the day she modeled it for me

and the ornament i made for the office gift exchange, i ended up with my boss's boss, again. here she is with the ornament, and then a picture of the ornament itself. she said her daughter would claim it.

tammy, the "ropes" were metallic bedspread cotton over 50# fishing line.

here is the update on where i am at with lyla's blanket.

to answer your question tammy, i'm going to get it to a point where there are enough rows to make it mostly square, then edged with a round of single crochet in the gray. then i'll do a round of the other colors, one set of rounds to be a wheel of each color to finish the edging, which will give it an additional 3 or so inches on all 4 sides. not that any of that might make sense, but i'll be posting pictures.

for those who asked, each color set is about 5". the total width right now is about 24" but it's coming along nicely. I will add a 5" boarder on all sides so it will be nearly 36" square.
