Yes, I am not sure if it is male or female. I am calling it he for general purposes.
More than likely he came looking for water. And stayed around out of curiosity. It was a nice visit but I don't really want him hanging around. I don't encourage anything to stay around with food.

No, he didn't try. He just looked around and went on his way.
