When we were on the way home from North Dakota, we stopped in a little town in the very northeast of Alabama, and met up with some of Matthew's friends.  As we were leaving, we stopped by the local Salvation Army thrift store to say goodbye to the wife, and they had this little kitten.  They said it was wild, they said no one could catch it, and they said if we caught it, we could take it with us.  Matthew is a bit of an animal whisperer, and had it up in his arms purring in less than 5 minutes.  I brought it home.  When we stopped at Ellie & Jeremy's for the night, Jackson named it Peanut.









Obviously nothing wild about this cat!
