More rain on the way this week. Still too wet to get in the garden and pull weeds or do anything else right now. Still had some water standing in the low spots in the yard. Grass will need to be mowed soon and we need a few dry days before it will get dry enough.

Already have another 1.5" of rain today! My garden is drowning. Supposed to get more on Friday, then hopefully dry out next week.

Sunny, 67, light breeze.

May get up to 85 today, around upper 80's Thursday and Friday, then cool off and turn wet for the weekend. Going to try to mow the grass sometime before the weekend comes.

Looked to me like y'all have a named tropical storm coming through there Jim. Can't remember the name at the moment, but y'all batten down then hatches and stay dry.

Yeah, Bertha I think. The I95 corridor got the most of the rain it seems. I saw last night where most had lifted into North Carolina and further north.

Supposed to get spotty showers today with another round coming in tomorrow. Friday is a marginal risk for severe weather. We are just outside the forecasts line which could change today.

Got another inch of rain last night.

I'm tired of all the rain now. The garden is probably not going to do any good due to being drowned. The weeds will take it before it gets dry enough to get them out.

Mowing is another story. Probably be middle of next week before it will be dry enough to mow again. By then I may need a bush hog to get through it!

Another 1" of rain last night. That's a total of almost 9 inches in the last 2 weeks. 50% chance today and then hopefully a string of 5 days with no rain. At least that's the forecast for now.

Much cooler, cloudy, 53, calm. 24 hour temp change is -27.

Had a thunderstorm this morning for about 2 hours, really bright ligthning (thunder was nearly top of house), enough activity we lost power for 2-3 seconds.

91 and mostly sunny. We aren't supposed to get rain now until Thursday I think. But we had enough the last few days so that's fine.

Dry yesterday and prediction is dry through Thursday with 40% chance on Friday. Hopefully I can get the grass mowed before then. The garden is a total loss. Tomatoes are all wilted; too much water. The corn has turned yellow on the bottom leaves so it's pretty much drowned. Squash and cucumbers may do ok, can't tell till I can get in there and see. I do have some blooms.
