They lied about clear skies here. It rained yesterday, again today. And now predicted to raid all week and through the weekend. Ugh.

It was dry here again yesterday. I was able to complete the front part of the yard. Just need to mow the back field and I usually do that with the tractor. Will be doing that this afternoon as long as it stays dry. If I have to finish it up after dark I have lights on the tractor. My zero turn mower doesn't have any lights.

They are predicting rain again on Friday and then just about every day next week. I'm sure if Cristobal comes this way we will get more leaking clouds.

It was in the 90s, but we had a storm come through and cool us off. It's in the upper 60s now.

Rain every day it seems. .79 yesterday, .22 so far today. Supposed to taper off this afternoon with 30% tomorrow. I hope it's dry this weekend as I need to mow again.

I got a few cucumbers and squash out of the garden the other day. Not going to have much because of all the rain. The deer got in and ate pea plants that were coming up so probably won't get much there. What little corn came up has ears on the plants so hopefully we will get enough for a few meals.

It just needs a kick start now and then.

I'm liking the cooler weather. Leaves are starting to fall and the grass has slowed down considerably. I need to close the pool as the water is about 70 which is a bit cold for swimming here.

We didn't get much rain from Hurricane Delta so hopefully we have a cool dry spell coming.

Off and on rain yesterday afternoon. Was a bit wet unloading the equipment at the VFW but it's cleared up so we should be dry now for a few days.
