Great link Tonya.  I'm still reading the info but it would be interesting to see what other folks think about it.  I had always heard the legend but had never really done any research or read anything documented.

You did leave Tennessee, Tonya!  ;D

Hmmm, wonder how far away Robertson County is from Jim's parents in Brush Creek?  ;) Might have to make a side-trip next time we visit them....

According to Mapquest it's about 87 miles from Brush Creek to Adams.? Estimated driving time is 1 hour and 34 minutes.

I saw a movie commercial and had to google this- I want to go see the homestead and all one day- maybe when I go see my mom....

Dianne- you are right! I did leave! ;D Different ghosts involved, though!  ;)

Noticed this weekend that there is a new DVD coming out that tells the story too...An American Haunting I think it was.  Not sure if it is out yet or maybe it was going to be released today.  Anyone else heard about this?

When did they start putting that kind of stuff on Country Music Television?  I would have never thought of looking there.  They were advertising the DVD on several of the channels that were playing the horror movies this past weekend.
