Cloudy and overcast here today. Temps quite a bit lower as well. We have been having afternoon thunderstorms most every day for a week now. Grass is getting high and I still have standing water from the rain.

No rain today, none predicted for tomorrow. But temps are near normal heat for a couple of days. Extreme heat supposed to return next week.

Wasn't quite as hot here today. High was 91. It's 78 now with a heat index of 81 at almost 11:00 PM. Supposed to be about the same tomorrow.

94 right now with a heat index of 122. I been mowing and trying to cool off a bit before I finish up. I’ve been taking lots of breaks.

We actually only hit 99 today with heat index of 116. They are saying this is going to be our hottest week yet this year.
