Rain off and on, mid 90s, 100+ w/heat index. Way better than yesterday's storm. Only lasted an hour but dropped almost 2" of rain in that time. With constant thunder/lightening with no time in between, oh and wind too. Bad storm.

You wanna talk about a temp difference...it was 105 at 2:00 p.m (heat index 121) By 4:30 it was 74! A thunder storm came through. That's all it took. -31° difference in a matter of 2.5 hrs.

The high pressure ridge creating the super hot temps has moved on. Our high today was only 89. Of course we had the usual late afternoon thunderstorm roll through.

Just on thunderstorm/shower early afternoon, lasted about an hour. Otherwise no rain, though we were supposed to get a lot.
