I don't have any pictures yet but I will get out there. Right now the yellow tulips are blooming and they look great. The white irises are up too and blooming. Of course against the white house, they aren't as showy as they would be planted elsewhere. Interesting that they used to be purple and now the same clumps are white. Anyone know anything about that?

sweet flag (?) blooming right now

Nice picture. I never did get out there and get pictures. Now I've missed the peonies too.

I had my very first black-eyed-susan vine flower today. That was exciting. Growing these I now know that they are the type of vine that likes to grow up on something. I don't have anything for it this year but next year I hope to. I'm thinking pergola for the deck with trellises attached to the supporting posts.

Remember my little petunia that volunteered on the sidewalk last summer and lived all through the winter???

Your not going to believe this. One of the naked ladies has bloomed while the leaves are still on it. It has a really short stock on it too. It sure is pretty. Maybe I'll get a picture of it some time this comming week.
-
That sounds like an amarcrinum, Tammy It is a crinum mix with amaryllis. They are close cousins and can cross.
-
that's interesting Tina thanks for the information.
