New one open. I'll share my last post from previous topic.
Light rain, 45, calm.
-
Feeling like summer again here. Playing golf tomorrow afternoon and will probably wear shorts. Supposed to be in the high 70s.
-
Foggy, 37, calm.
-
Sunny, 31, slight breeze at times.
-
Cloudy, 45, easterly wind up to 10 mph. Been so mild.
-
Cold. Low 50s. I don't like it.
-
Supposed to get down to the 40s tonight with tomorrow's high in the 60s. I don't like the cold either.
-
Light rain, 40, light breeze.
-
Light rain, 39, also a light breeze.
-
Cold this morning. I think it was 37° this morning with a light wind. They were talking wind chill below freezing but it wasn't that cold here. Tomorrow they are saying a hard freeze in the morning so I guess winter is here.
-
We froze last night with wind chills in the 20s. Barely hit 50 today. Will freeze again tonight but warm into mid to upper 50s tomorrow.
-
Clear, 43, easterly wind up to 20 mph.
-
Clear & cold, 40 and dropping. It's supposed to get down to 30 tonight. Up from the low of 28 last night.
-
We're supposed to be just over freezing tonight (33) but I've covered plants anyhow. Tomorrow we are supposed to get into the 60s. Yay!
-
We're supposed to get down to about 40, then up to 70 tomorrow. Clear and nice.
-
That's what it was today. Tomorrow much the same, but temps drop again after that. At least not as cold as it was (not freezing).
-
Rain and snow mix, 35, light breeze at times.
-
Light rain at times, 44, light breeze.
-
Snow, blowing snow, 26 and dropping, easterly wind up to 15 mph and increasing.
-
I think we're the only state not getting any snow. As a matter of fact, its been warmer than average, upper 60s, lower 70s. Overcast and occasional rain. Tomorrow afternoon a front will come through, predicting upwards of 5" of rain in the nest 3 days, and temps will cool down, but still not 'cold'. I could do without the rain.
-
It was supposed to get to 75 today but didn't break 70. 65 is the highest its supposed to get for the next week. I like this mild weather, but could do without so much rain.
-
Hard to tell how much snow we have. Under a blizzard warning till noon PST Friday.
Earlier went out and turned on the heater in the pump house. Below freezing for a few days, all day.
High temp Monday will be 45, or so the place I get the forecast from says.
-
Snow and blowing snow continues, 18, anemometer froze, no wind speed and no windchill reading.
Way too harsh out there to take care of it.
-
Raining since 5. Will continue through the night with some thunderstorms thrown in there for good measure.
-
Miserable
-
Ditto
-
Light snow, 21, easterly wind (guessing) up to 10 mph.
No idea how much snow we have, lived here almost 31 years and this is the 3rd time getting this much snow.
Talk about isolation, this a good way for it, we cannot get out nor can anyone come over to visit.
-
Wet & cold and temps dropping. Will warm a bit tomorrow but by Wed temps will really drop but by Thurs sun is supposed to come out for several days in a row. Yay. Looking forward to it even if it will be colder.
-
Miserable and wet! 3 inches of rain this month and it's only the 15th! Can't do anything outside as it's squishy everywhere.
-
Cloudy, 36, wind changed direction, more of a westerly breeze and for the warming temps. Still no wind speed though, hasn't thawed out just yet.
This :Yahoo: for the thawing.
-
Jim, we got 3+ inches in the last 2 days! Many more previously. Today we had a couple of tornados/water spouts come through. Once the front passed, temps dropped. Freezing tonight and tomorrow night. I was hopeing we were done with the freezing temps. Heck we were running the a/c in the daytime a couple of days ago.
-
Yeah, the weather is crazy so far this year. I want to get the tractor in the garden to get it ready but it will be a few weeks of dry weather before that will happen. Have lots of outside chores I want to get done before spring but it's got to get quite a bit drier than it is now.
We have more rain on the way for Thursday!
-
Finally the anemometer is working again, thawed out yesterday.
Cloudy, 38, light westerly breeze.
-
Now, about 7 inches of rain this month. Got 2 inches yesterday and had .17 on the weather station this morning since midnight. Was 37° this morning. I'm ready for some dry weather!
-
Jim, thats alot of rain, would imagine having some nice dry days would be nice.
Snow we have is more then we ever had. Melted some, still lots of it left. Still cannot get my car out of the driveway.
Edit: cloudy, 37, light breeze at times.
-
Wet, cold, miserable.
-
no rain today but temp just did hit 50. Sun finally came out around 4. Gonna freeze tonight.
-
It was 35 when I went to work this morning and got to be 53 today. It's supposed 3 be about that again tonight/ tomorrow
-
It was 32 when I woke but got into the upper 50s with lots of sun and no wind so fairly nice, comparatively. Will be a bit warmer tonight and tomorrow but rain will come again on Mon. Then we get almost a week of dry and warmer weather, Yay.
-
Light rain, 37, light wind.
And snow is still melting.
-
Warming up. More rain tomorrow but then sunny or mostly sunny rest of the week.
-
Heavy rain, 45, westerly wind up to 15 mph.
-
I'm ready for spring. Remind me I said this when I have to start mowing every week!
-
Cloudy, 32, calm.
Light dusting.
-
We say lots of sunshine yesterday and hit 69. Forecast for today is 75. Drying out a bit just in time for some more rain on Friday.
-
Same here Jim
-
Short lived dusting event, melted yesterday afternoon, 43 for a high.
Cloudy, 36, light wind.
-
80 today and supposed to be 80 tomorrow.
-
Ditto here, and 60ish for a low.
-
Cloudy, 34, light wind.
-
Was over 80 today and supposed to be 83 tomorrow, then cool down some after that. I have the ac on.
-
Was quite sunny, 47, light wind.
High of 51.
-
Yesterday was 83. I played golf in shorts. It was definitely a beautiful day. We had a bit of wind early but that changed to a gently breeze in the afternoon.
-
Was over 80 yesterday. Started the day at 70 then around 3 the rains came and temp dropped from 74 to 64 and has continued to drop. Not supposed to get upper 70s again for at least a week.
-
Clear, 39, light wind.
High of 56 yesterday (March 1st).
-
Barely hit 60 today, and rain rain rain.
-
Haven't been outsite yet (no idea if its clear or cloudy), 35, light wind.
-
Had 1.25 inches of rain yesterday but now we are supposed to have a stretch of sunshine through the weekend. Supposed to be high of 55 on Sunday so will probably play golf again that day. may have to wear long pants though instead of shorts. We are due for some non-rainy weather. Need it so my garden spot can dry out. I need to start the prep on it but can't so much till it dries out quite a bit.
-
Sun came out in full force today. Day started out in the 40s but reached low 70s. tonight and tomorrow is supposed to be more of the same with a small amount of rain on Sat. a.m. Then we cool down again.
-
Supposed to get in the low 30s tonight and up to the mid 60s. Rinse and repeat.
-
40s here, high 60s tomorrow.
-
Low 40s right now, supposed to get to 31. Freeze warning in effect.
-
Gonna get cold again tonight. Was in thee 30s last night but not freezing. Warmed up nicely. Tomorrow supposed to be more of the same.
-
4 days with no rain! We are finally starting to dry out. We are supposed to hit 80 on Friday and Saturday and then back to our normal 60s for highs. No rain in the forecast now till Monday.
-
We're supposed to get in the upper 70s over the next few days. I'm not ready for that.
-
Clear, 34, calm.
-
Not bad right now. Most of the state of SC is in the "Enhanced" area for severe storms. From the timeline it appears from 2-5PM may be interesting. Last night they had us in the "Moderate" category. I'm glad it was reduced for most of the state. I brought my 2M hand held radio to work as the local repeater is usually linked during this kind of storm and we hear reports from all over the state.
Hope everyone stays safe.
-
We had a line of severe storms come through about 4:30 a.m. until about 8:30. Several tornados (the hit and go kind) and lots of high winds, some as high as 80mph. The sun came out in the afternoon, but temps have dropped. Lots of wind damage about town and other areas around us. But no loss of property (some fences and such) or life so we came out good. Cooler temps for the rest of the week, cloudy but no rain.
-
The stormy weather line kind of split before it got to us and went north and south of us. It looked like Newberry and points north of Coumbia got lots more rain and wind than we did. My rain gauge registered .03 for rain and about 5 MPH with a gust or two at 18.
Much cooler today than yesterday and calling for frost tonight in some areas.
I'm ready for spring!
-
...Much cooler today than yesterday and calling for frost tonight in some areas.
I'm ready for spring!
you and me both.
-
It was still windy here today a barely hit 60. Cold after a week of mid to upper 70s.
-
Cloudy, 36, light wind.
-
Cold, in the upper 40s and we got over 2 inches of rain today.
-
We had a shower this morning. Started out cold, but got to 73. Will be mostly cloudy throughout the week with our highest chances of rain on Thursday.
-
Light rain, 37, light wind.
-
Sleet and snow, 33, light wind.
-
Supposed to be nice today with rain rolling in tomorrow. We have had some really warm days. I've got the AC on but may have to turn the heater back on. Friday and Saturday morning they are calling for frost. I've already mowed the front and back fields once and it looks like the front needs it again. Dang weeds are growing.
-
We've bee running the a/c too. And we will also be switching to the heater in the next couple of days. Gonna get cold again for a couple of days.
-
Clear (turning daylight), 35, light wind.
-
Cold, but going to start warming back up tomorrow afternoon.
-
Started out cold, but I needed the ac by mid afternoon.
-
Started cold but turned into a beautiful day by 10 a.m. Sunshine, mid 70s. Perfect day for egg hunts.
-
Cold this morning, right around 40, but it climbed to near 80. It's supposed top be in the 50s at night and upper 70s/ low 80s in the afternoons for the next week. Ugh.
-
Sounds about the same as us.
-
Over 2 months of no posts.
Cloudy, 45, calm.
-
ditto bayou girl
-
Low 90s, upper 80s all day every day, probably from now until September.
-
Ditto that here. Only we could use some rain.
-
We had 5 inches of rain this month so far! I'm ready for a few dry days. Temps have been high too with humidity to go along with it. I'll be mowing this weekend if the rain holds off on Saturday.
-
We're supposed to get rain this weekend. But we were supposed to at the beginning of last week and it never materialized. And the heat goes without saying...
-
Cloudy with showers at times, 54, light wind.
-
Hot & muggy.
-
Showers, 52, calm.
-
Cooler, rain off and on.
-
Rain in afternoon and evening. Definitely not cooler.
-
We got more rain on Saturday so I had to mow on Sunday afternoon. I finished up about 8:30 last night. Made for a long day. It was cloudy most of the day but no rai9n. It's been nice today but is about 89 out there right now in Sumter. Supposed to stay dry till about Saturday then more rain next week.
-
Stayed dry today with temps mid 90s and heat indices over 100. Obviously I stayed inside most of the day. lol
-
