Yep, looks like they are going to have a heat wave on Friday. High is supposed to be -8. The record low there is -60 in 1975. That's one place I wouldn't want to live or even visit.

I am very satisfied with my temps here. It would be nice to see some rain though.

It seems much warmer today with the wind out of the South instead of the North. We are already up to 50.

Our low last night was around 20. Tonight it will be about 40. BIG temperature swing!

Didn't get as cold last night as was predicted. Looks like the low was 37 at our house. Turned off the pool pump this morning as it had been running for the better part of 3 days. Supposed to steadily warm up till next week now with a slight chance of rain on Sunday.

Our high today was 71. I sent in a weather report by email and was mentioned on the local TV station during the weather this evening. They maintain a group of "WeatherNet" reporters and usually mention temps and rainfall, anything of interest during the local weather.

That is adorable.
I am under one inch of snow. I don't remember them saying anything about this in the weather forcast. They said snow flurries. Snow flurries don't dump one inch of snow. Whaaaaaaa. Nice part is that the blacktop is dry.

Possible foot by Wednesday morning, then melt with southern flow (warming).

About a foot of it, more to come, lots more, heavy snow later on.
31 and light snow at the moment, still breezy at times. They say it could warm up into the 40's tomorrow sometime. Just can't wait for the sloppy mess to follow.

Sure is pretty to look at, and fun to play in when I was younger. Sure wouldn't want to deal with it now. I can barely deal with it when it gets down to 30 or 40 around here. lol

the pictures are wonderful william, thank you for sharing. we were supposed to get to 70. we were supposed to have a couple days of rain. we have 50 and it isn't supposed to get over 60 now. :razberry:

It rained/stormed while I was sleeping last night. Didn't get above 60 today and is already at 50. Mid to high 30s tonight. Supposed to start warming back up tomorrow, but with more rain. You'd think it was spring.

We ended up with around 2 feet, melting rather quickly with light rain and being in the lower 40's.
Sure creeks/rivers levels will rise from melting quickly.

It was chilly all day. They lied, said it was 40 this morning, and when I walked out the door underdressed, there was ice on my car. Grrrr. Supposedly 52 now. I don't thnk we quite hit 60 today.

Today's high here was 78. A bit more inland it actually hit 80. The storms coming through tomorrow evening is to bring cooler (more normal highs of mid 60s) with it for the weekend, with sunshine. Should be nice for moving and fence building

the low was 18 this morning :freezin: but warmed up to 60 today. it is supposed to drop back into the 30's tonight, but that is much warmer than last night. it is currently 35 right now, and that is the predicted low.

We hit 85 yesterday and 83 today. It's been raining off and on most of the day in Sumter but doesn't look like we got much at the house. After this passes through we are supposed to cool down again with highs in the 60s.

Sounds like us except our highs were high 70s/80°. The weatherman was right though, high today of 79, but was 66 at 5 p.m. the front has come through.

That's what they are predicting for us too, but they were way off today. Wouldn't be surprised if they were for the rest of the week too. This week is the start of spring break here and they like to make things sound better than they are.

Cold and wet. Right now at nearing 11 pm. it is 37* and dropping. Tonight we had hail for a long time. Got a beautiful accumulation. My older son had never seen so much where you could not see the ground. He tried to get a picture on his phone but it was a flop in the dark.
But the hail is still there. It won't be by morning probably.
