Gonna be another hot one. Suppose to have chance of showers this afternoon, but gone by 5. Not enough to relieve the drought situation at all.

Cold for California. 50* with a high of about 65* expected today. Brrrr....

It was OMG HOT :hot: today!! In town (close to the water, it hit 100° w/index of 104°. Out here at my house, it hit 105° w/107° index. I'm just thankful that humidity was under 50% or the indices would have been murder!

Sunny with a totally blue sky, 59, light breeze here and there.
Summer like this weekend, sunny with highs 80 to 85, here may be upper 70's, who knows we may even get into the 80's. Putting in my AC is pending.

Same here too Jenn. We are supposed to have a "chance" of rain tonight and into tomorrow. We will see if it manifests itself.

it barely spit rain on about 20% of the county today. i do mean barely. i guess that was the 20% chance of rain, you had a chance to be in the part of the county that got 20 rain drops :giggle:

It sprinkled here in Destin and we saw some lightening. They have some severe thunderstorm warnings out for one of the counties around here. Can't remember which one.
The street was wet as we came back to the resort this evening about 8. Didn't do much be possibly settle the dust and kick the humidity up.

It hit 98 here today. We had a late afternoon thunder shower. It's long gone now. Still 84 w74% humidity.

Yep, the computer that is connected to it decided to crash on Thursday. Blue screen so I have to dig through some logs to see what the issue is. It's my old computer so I'm not surprised. I think it is some bad memory but the logs will lead me to what the issue is.
It's back online now that we are home.

Wish we had your temps! It hit 98 today w/heat index over 100.
There's been a couple of rumbles of thunder in the distance but nothing here. Radar shows clear but my treetops are swaying.

90 right now, but 72% humidity. Temp adjustment is to 114 :hot:

It hit 100 today w/heat index of 107, one place real close to my house hit 105. Don't know the heat index on that one. Suffice to say it was HOT. Afternoon thunder storms have brought it down to 90 muggy degrees. So muggy today you could literally see it in the air, like a white haze in the trees. It's too early in the year for this. 60+ year records are being broken all around me. Hope it lets up soon.

Currently 98 w/heat index of 112. In town it's 96 w/heat index of 105. Oppressive. Hard to breath!

i've only been outside 2 times in the last week. and don't plan to go out again until next tuesday. but according the the weather reports we are a little cooler, highs in the mid 90s because of the afternoon thunderstorms. we need the rain, so that is good. wish my electric bill reflected it though.

I just couldn't do that any more. When we get 100+ temps we do not have humidity to go with it most of the time.

The humidity has left us today.......so its hot, just doesnt feel that hot.

We've been having temps in the upper 90s in between rain showers all week. The air is so heavy, you can wear it. But we need the rain.

Last night's low was 61* and today's high was 89*. (Both of these under my porch roof in the shade). Humidity about 35%. Close enough?

Yuck! We were having those kinds of temps last month. Not near that bad here the last couple of weeks. Still hot, but not that hot. They said the heat wave was expanding to the east. I'm wondering how Tammy is hold up with a/c.

Things really cooled down overnight here. Today's high is in the mid 80's instead of 100. I am glad for the break. Our pool feels like a hot tub.

It sure was hot here, and your only about an hour from me, so we both had wicked hot temperatures.
Its cooler today, so i have opened the windows and shut off the AC.

Showers, 54°F, no wind. Some thunder half hour ago or so. We had our warmest day yesterday, 84°F with lots of sun.
It was bad enough here, too hot for this guy, sat in my room pretty much of the day.
