Cute. Does the pup leave the cat alone?

He chases her and she runs up and sit on the pole a while.  Then they both go get in his dog house and take a nap.

Now that is a fence!  Don't think I've ever seen chain link inside a split rail like that but I bet it works good.  Looks very secure.

That fence also has regular fencing wire and then some type of hard wire that takes a special tool to bend.  All in an effort to keep Andy from breaking or digging out.  He didn't have a bit of trouble bending and digging under the hard wire (can't think of what it's called) and escaping.  At this point we're hoping he doesn't figure out that he can jump over.

Yes, I was looking and it looks like he could jump it. Or hafl jump, half climb.

We had a Rottie that could sail over our fence. She only did once - when she saw Krys walking another dog. She sailed over the fence AND the garbage can without touching either. Otherwise, she never even tried. She had no desire to run off. Andy may just not want to get out any more.

Remember we've had him trained and he doesn't try to push his way out when I open the gate because if he did try he'd be the winner.  That fence has cost us a gazillion dollars let me tell you.  He gets excited at the cats sometimes and jumps straight up and could more than clear that fence.  So far he's just jumping from excitement not to escape.  If he ever does figure it out our only option will be to keep him in his pen all the time.  That would be so sad.  Porter, the lab we had, never jumped that I saw, but he would try to push his way out when we opened the gate.

I do think that cat is the cutest cat ever.  And she has a baby voice which makes her even cuter.
