High of 91 here today with 72 currently. Forecast is for rain tonight and tomorrow, about 40% chance. The weather stick is pointing straight out, not down or up. It was pointing down on Saturday and Sunday but we didn't get any rain here. In Sumter on Saturday night they got baseball size hail for about 15 minutes. We had some additional holes in the warehouse roof at work.

I have never seen, nor want to see baseball sized hail. Keep safe you folks. It sounds like a nasty season forming.

Did a cold front come through? The humidity dropped and it has cooled some. Very nice out. I will open up for a bit before bed.

i think so barb. it is cooler here, down to 59 tonight and supposed to get to 48 tomorrow night.

They were way off on temperature predictions today. Said it would get to 85, but it got to maybe mid 70s. I opened up windows as soon as I got home.

Cloudy with light rain at times, no wind, 41. Feels pretty good out, despite the wetness.

We are supposed to have a possibility of high winds and tornado watches in the wee hours. Possible that it will pass just north of us. Keep your fingers crossed that it does. I don't need anymore violent storms right now.

They are forecasting the same here. Supposed to start tonight and then rain all day tomorrow. They are saying that it is just going to be a wet Saturday. :rain3:
The wind has already been kicking up here as we had a gust at 16+ mph, not long ago. I'm like Sheri, I think I am about tired of the wind.

similar stuff for us too. not the high winds (thank goodness) but the rest of the bad weather. barb, stay safe... my fingers are crossed for you and i'm praying the storms miss you.

The tail of the front is supposed to come through here, with a possibility of it skirting north of me. :pray: The tail of it is full of severe storms but the saving grace I suppose is that it is suppose to fly through here around 1:00 a.m. or so and be out by morning. We are supposed to have a nice weekend.

I hear some thunder rumbling in the distance here. I hope it doesn't get to bad tonight for either of us. I don't like storms... :SmileyFear:

Tornado watch for us now until 9PM. We have had some gusty winds this morning and lots of clouds.

it got up to 84 today and is 67 right now. supposed to get into the 40's tonight and tomorrow night. the storm is gone and it is nice, clear, and breezy.

Our weekend turned out much better than expected weatherwise. They were calling for a soggy day on Saturday but we only got .05 and that was all in about 15 minutes. The sun was shinning the rest of the day and Sunday. It's a nice day today as well. It's currently 59 with a light breeze.

Possible shower today, but the sun is shing also, breeze here and there, 44, this morning was frosty. Sunday/Monday morning had hard freeze both mornings.

It has been nothing but rain here in Central PA since the beginning of April. We were hopeing for an early install of a swimming pool but the ground won't dry out. :(

This week we have had rain, sun, a thunderstorm, hail, wind, and frost. I think that Mother Nature cannot make up her mind what season it is around here.

In Blair County. I live in a suburb of a suburb of a small city. It's like living in the country, last house on the lane, but within a short distance to everything. Just perfect for our family. We love it here. :grouphug:

Wasn't frosty this morning. Cloudy, 36, no wind. Going to be a decent day.

Don't know what our high was but it was still 81 (per my car) coming home from work.

Today's high was 62* and still damp. A heavy misting enough to use my windshield wipers.

We topped out at 88.3 today and it's 73 now. They said earlier that we were in for some showers but the weather stick says different. It's not pointing down. I hope it's right because I have wood being delivered tomorrow for the pool deck.

It may be time to drag out a tarp or two, just in case.

depending on the sign/site, we topped out around 88-89. the rain is supposed to come in here tomorrow night and friday. but it is supposed to be horrible the whole time we are in pennsylvania. :razberry: even cold. in the 40's.

Snowed for a short time this morning, didn't amount to anything.
Currently 43, mix of showers and sun, breezy at times. Tomorrow and Saturday are going to be nice, Saturday for the most part will be, then rain moves in later on. They are forecasting mid to upper 60's Friday and Saturday.

FYI, my weather station is offline till I can get the computer fixed. I got the blue screen of death last night and after checking things out, it appears that the hard drive may be shot. That is my old computer, so not a big issue, just don't want to set my laptop up for uploading the weather data. I'll get it back on line once the computer is fixed.

Dianna is hunkered down :hide: waiting out the storms this morning. We have severe thunder storm warnings :lightn: as well as tornado warnings till 12 today. It got dark as it was last night here at work a bit ago and we are having lots of thunder and lightning.

high today was 94 but according to my car, when i got it (it was sitting in the sun) it said 108. way too hot for this time of year. we should have another few weeks before it gets that hot in the car... :hot:

It hit the mid 90s here too if you were just a bit off the coastline. At the coast, high 80s. And the humidity was suffocating.
I agree. Way too hot, way too early. I hate to see what August will bring.

Its currently a muggy 70 with heavy heavy fog. Supposed to be high 80s to mid 90s depending on how close to the coastline you are. We are supposed to have rain coming in this weekend. Hopefully it'll knock down the humidity at least a little.

our weather is almost dead on to barb. high today was 86, but felt cooler due to the cloud cover and the pending rain. however, the muggy was not nice. even when you didn't feel particularly hot, you were sweating :razberry:

It hit 88 at the coastline today. Some places further inland hit 98 today.

Haha... Cascade Range, well the foothills of it, in other words, mountainous area.

After a week of beautiful sunny warm weather we are back to rain and 60s again for the forseeable future. :cringe:

Currently 70° w/60% humidity. I think our high for the last few days hasn't gone over 77. It has been nice and I've had my windows open - as I do now.

Mom has yet to start a garden this year because of the weather.

Our high so far today is 96.3 but yesterday we hit 98.2. My pool water was 88 yesterday so it felt pretty good. It is really dry and if we don't get some rain soon, I may have to give my garden a drink.

Actually, they were showing where north of you there's going to be bad weather. Anyone in the path of that weather please stay safe. Praying all are safe and the storms are not as bad as recent ones.

we are just expecting the trailing edges. no real bad weather. i hope we get something though, it is way too dry out there. and i hope jim and dianna and all north of me are safe.

Started out cloudy. We had some T-Storms last night (glad I slept through them). The sun came out this afternoon. Been warm and muggy all day. Currently 82 with 78% humidity.

we had half hearted storms all day, not enough, it barely settled the dust. and didn't in places. it was very selective rain. high today was 89. it is 74 now.

Higher elevations got some snow (at 4000 feet plus) this morning and a repeat for tomorrow morning, my location is around 1240 feet, just been colder and wetter than usual.

I can deal with temps we have with low humidity, just not 80+ and/or humid, does get humid here, not like what east coast gets.
Current: partly cloudy, 50, breezy/rain at times.

Yes, I live here and the humidity can sometimes get to me. It is currently 70 with 99% humidity. Humidity levels will drop some as the temps go up (as the sun comes out and dries things up somewhat)

That is how it was here yesterday. I got lots of sun!
Right now it is 66° with a high today of 74°. Perfect. And it is sunny.
