Warm the day but so liveable.

Going to be a warm one today. Probably the hottest this week and they are saying a slight chance of a shower tomorrow and Sunday. I think it was showing about 20%. A light shower would be ok, just don't need a drenching rain.
Pool water temperature was 87° yesterday.

Wonderful sunny weather with the highs in the upper 80's. But cool nights and mornings.

It's cloudy and 95. May have a tropical storm or hurricane coming up this way in the next few days. They aren't sure where its going yet... But we'll get rain out of it at a minimum.

I was watching about that storm on world news, Barb. I hope it fizzles.

TS Debby is making her presence known. They say its going to take a sharp left but it hasn't yet. It is pouring outside with periods of strong wind gusts. We are under a Tropical Storm Warning. Fun.

It's actually pretty cool here. 73 w/heat index 72??....humidity 93% (raining) The rain has broken a couple of times allowing for the dogs to go do their thing!

I don't know what the current total rainfall is. I can't find it anywhere. But its been raining all day with maybe a 20 minute break. The trees are really bending outside and some limbs have snapped, but not blown into the house, thankfully. The wind is howling. They are now saying it's not going to make the turn to the left and we are on the bad side of the storm. Storm supposedly going to meander for a couple of days. Wind is only supposed to pick up through the night. Gonna make for a sleepless night.

I'm not too worried. They now have the thing coming in right on top of us. But max winds are 60 mph and won't have much chance to intensify before landfall - which they aren't predicting to happen until Friday, by the way. I have the whole week to enjoy this. lol I'm more concerned about the trailer in Bayou George. Chip and Krys will keep an eye on it for me, but it is still in my name at the moment, and ins. prob won't cover any damage since it is sitting empty.

I have an Aunt that lives in Pensacola. Stay safe whomever lives in the path, at least its not a full blown hurricane, but has potential to be damaging nonetheless.

It is strangely calm and not raining at the moment. Here anyhow. St. Joe is another story. The next rain/wind band should be here shortly. Hopefully not before I have to leave for work. It is warmer. Starting out at 74 today which is higher than yesterday's high of 73.

Currently 106 in Columbia. This is the kind of weather where the average AC can only slow down the interior temperature increase.

We are starting to cool down a bit thank goodness. Today the high is supposed to be 98. I don't think we got up to triple digits yesterday either. The humidity is still going to be high so it will seem like it's hotter than it really is. We still have that slight chance of a pop-up thunderstorm today and tomorrow though.

We are supposed to get to triple digits over next weekend.
I think we have set records by not having at least a single 100+ degree day at all this year. We usually get a summer-is-coming warning for a day or two in April and/or May. June is mostly calm.
We measure our rainfall from July 1 through End of June for a year. Last year was weird as far as when we got the rains we did. And we only got about half of our norm. So we are in a drought.
I keep hearing El Nino possibilities. That could help our drying up and blowing away.

Definitely humid with a high dew point as well. Dianna and I both got some sun that we didn't want the other day when it was so hot. I was wearing flip flops and the tops of my feet are burnt. ::)

Last time I went out it was cloudy, current temp is 52 and is calm.

We tried to mow yesterday afternoon, but got run in by a shower that turned into .25 inches of rain. That did it for mowing. We have at least 30% chance of precipitation forecasts for this week and even more for the weekend. Look like we are back int he rain mode.
