I was watching the Weather Channel yesterday and was thinking about you Barb and Jen. We had some rain but no severe stuff. Glad you guys made it through safely.

Yep the Citizen Weather Observer program is kind of new. The station I have will not easily upload using packet radio (APRS). It will easily upload to Weather Underground, Ambient Weather, and Weather Cloud using the internet. Be sure and talk to some amateur radio operators that are already uploading data to see what you might need.
-
Cloudy, 53, calm.
-
A beautiful day after the storms we had yesterday. Sunshine and 80
-
Sunny, 51, light breeze.
Had fun looking over weather posts the last ten years.
-
Jim, do you have an ID for that particular station? I registered and got an ID of FW7321. Once I get the unit tomorrow and get it set up, the WIFI will pull the data into the house and I can upload it to one of the many services that will send the data to the CWP servers. Guess you would call it third party data. I am wondering if your station is already going to one of the services and getting to the NWS third party? Weather Underground and others send their data to the NWS if I am not mistaken (and I could be). I am working on getting a digital station together but I need to get the SignaLink for my radio and associated cabling. Jiffy is looking at getting me a tablet to use as my PC for the digital station. Tablets have enough substance today.
-

Not that I know of. Mine is currently uploaded to 4 different services. Each one requires a different ID. They assign it when you register just like the NWS site. If either of them are forwarding the data to NWS, I'm not aware of it. They might be though.

Light rain, 42, breezy.
-
Weather has been good here lately. It's been hot but with a slight breeze so not too bad. It's getting dry. I may have to water the garden if we don't get some rain soon.
-
It has been dry. I've noticed my half barrel is evaporating.
-
It's been hot here. But dew point dropping so will feel cooler tomorrow. Also wind blowing pretty good today. Supposed to get some rain Fri/Sat. then dew point goes back up.
-
It got windy here yesterday afternoon. I had to replant some things in the garden and waited till late afternoon to do it. It was cloudy and very pleasant. I went to Santee later to pick up a pizza for dinner and the lake was really rough. Wind blowing and it sprinkled for just a bit.
Looks like we are supposed to get a little rain on Friday but the percentage is really low and when it's that low it usually means we probably won't get any to speak of.
-
Yup, windy here too. A little less so than yesterday and I think our temps topped out in the lower 70s.
-
Sunny, 60, easterly wind up to 20 mph.
-
In the 50s here this morning. Kind of cool after the 80 degree days we have been having. My pool water was just starting to warm up a bit!
-
Sunny, 78, easterly wind up to 10 mph.
-
It's 58 here right now and supposed to be down into the 40s by morning. Odd weather for mid May, that's for sure.
-
I think Dianna wore a coat all day yesterday when she went out. It's a bit warmer today.
-
It was cool her this morning but warmed up quite a bit. Chloe even got in her pool for while.
-
Clear, 50, calm.
-
Light rain, 57, calm.
-
Ugh, hit 92 today. Too warm for this time of year.
-
Sunny, 70, calm.
-
Supposed to get some rain this afternoon. We need it. If we don't get some soon I'll have to water the garden. It has been really dry now for several weeks.
-
Light rain at times, 42, calm.
-
Super muggy and hot (upper 80s), Thee mugginess is what gets you!
-
Over 4 inches of rain this week. My garden has plenty of water now. Everything is green including the weeds. More rain tomorrow.
-
Cloudy, 57, calm.
No sharing Jim and Dianna.
-
80 degrees at 10 pm with clouds beginning to come in.
-
Cloudy, 62, calm.
-
78, cloudy, in between rain storms.
-
Cloudy, 55, calm.
-
More rain on the way this week. Still too wet to get in the garden and pull weeds or do anything else right now. Still had some water standing in the low spots in the yard. Grass will need to be mowed soon and we need a few dry days before it will get dry enough.
-
Low 70s and wet.
-
Already have another 1.5" of rain today! My garden is drowning. Supposed to get more on Friday, then hopefully dry out next week. :rain3:
-
Sunny, 67, light breeze.
May get up to 85 today, around upper 80's Thursday and Friday, then cool off and turn wet for the weekend. Going to try to mow the grass sometime before the weekend comes.
-
Looked to me like y'all have a named tropical storm coming through there Jim. Can't remember the name at the moment, but y'all batten down then hatches and stay dry.
-
78, and the rain is gone for a minute. We'll have a day of clouds, them the rain will be back.
-

Yeah, Bertha I think. The I95 corridor got the most of the rain it seems. I saw last night where most had lifted into North Carolina and further north.
Supposed to get spotty showers today with another round coming in tomorrow. Friday is a marginal risk for severe weather. We are just outside the forecasts line which could change today.
-
Hoping you stay out of it's path.
-
Got another inch of rain last night. :badmood: I'm tired of all the rain now. The garden is probably not going to do any good due to being drowned. The weeds will take it before it gets dry enough to get them out.
Mowing is another story. Probably be middle of next week before it will be dry enough to mow again. By then I may need a bush hog to get through it!
-
Filtered sun, 81, light breeze.
Got the grass mowed not long ago.
-
Another 1" of rain last night. That's a total of almost 9 inches in the last 2 weeks. 50% chance today and then hopefully a string of 5 days with no rain. At least that's the forecast for now.
-
Much cooler, cloudy, 53, calm. 24 hour temp change is -27.
Had a thunderstorm this morning for about 2 hours, really bright ligthning (thunder was nearly top of house), enough activity we lost power for 2-3 seconds.
-
91 and mostly sunny. We aren't supposed to get rain now until Thursday I think. But we had enough the last few days so that's fine.
-
Same here Jen. Rained yesterday, but none predicted for a few days.
-
Dry yesterday and prediction is dry through Thursday with 40% chance on Friday. Hopefully I can get the grass mowed before then. The garden is a total loss. Tomatoes are all wilted; too much water. The corn has turned yellow on the bottom leaves so it's pretty much drowned. Squash and cucumbers may do ok, can't tell till I can get in there and see. I do have some blooms.
-
Clear, 45, calm.
-
They lied about clear skies here. It rained yesterday, again today. And now predicted to raid all week and through the weekend. Ugh.
-
It was dry here again yesterday. I was able to complete the front part of the yard. Just need to mow the back field and I usually do that with the tractor. Will be doing that this afternoon as long as it stays dry. If I have to finish it up after dark I have lights on the tractor. My zero turn mower doesn't have any lights.
They are predicting rain again on Friday and then just about every day next week. I'm sure if Cristobal comes this way we will get more leaking clouds.
-
Clear, 48, light breeze at times.
-
We've had some nice cool days lately but today starts a warming trend that will get us back to normal.
-
We've had some nice cool days lately but today starts a warming trend that will get us back to normal.
yes, I'm going to miss those cool temps.
-
Sunny, 69, calm.
-
Been cooler mornings but still hot in the days, but the mornings are warming and days are getting hotter.
-
And, it's warning up to hot going to be 90 today.
-
Was mid 90s here today. Got rain coming in next week.
-
It was in the 90s, but we had a storm come through and cool us off. It's in the upper 60s now.
-
Cloudy, 56, calm.
-
Rain every day it seems. .79 yesterday, .22 so far today. Supposed to taper off this afternoon with 30% tomorrow. I hope it's dry this weekend as I need to mow again.
I got a few cucumbers and squash out of the garden the other day. Not going to have much because of all the rain. The deer got in and ate pea plants that were coming up so probably won't get much there. What little corn came up has ears on the plants so hopefully we will get enough for a few meals.
-
No rain today. None predicted through the weekend. Just that Sahara dust. Gonna kill my sinuses.
-
Sunny, 70, light breeze.
Low this morning was 45.
-
Rainy. Every. Day.
-
Too freakin hot and climbing to around 100, sunny, 91, light breeze.
-
Smoke and clouds. Did have thunder and lightning not long ago with some showers. All we need is lightning, still soooo dry.
59, light breeze at times.
-
No smoke, at least I don't smell it. Cloudy, 55, calm.
Managed to get almost an inch of rain since yesterday.
-
No one interested in this topic anymore.
Light rain, 48, calm.
-
It just needs a kick start now and then.
I'm liking the cooler weather. Leaves are starting to fall and the grass has slowed down considerably. I need to close the pool as the water is about 70 which is a bit cold for swimming here.
We didn't get much rain from Hurricane Delta so hopefully we have a cool dry spell coming.
-
We have a yo yo cool/warm dry spell coming. Hopefully it'll move your way.
-
Clear, 40, calm. Coolest temp so far.
-
Sunny, low 80s
-
Off and on rain yesterday afternoon. Was a bit wet unloading the equipment at the VFW but it's cleared up so we should be dry now for a few days.
-
It was nice today. High of 71. It's supposed to warm back up tomorrow, but i sure enjoyed today.
-
Ditto. High of 76, low humidity. Heat and humidity supposed to return tomorrow.
-
Cloudy, 54, calm.
May, just may get our first snow over the weekend.
-
Warm & humid, but not too bad. Tolerable.
-
It flirted with 80 today and is supposed to go over tomorrow.
-
Clear, 35, calm.
-
Light rain, 42, slight breeze comes and goes.
-
hot muggy, rain off an on
-
Cloudy, 42, easterly wind up to 10 mph.
-
Storms have finally cleared out. I bet we got at least 4" of rain in about 3 hours. Yard was flooded. Whole area was under Flash Flood warning. Supposed to dry out and warm up tomorrow. Right now it is super foggy due to high dew point and everything still being wet.
-
Clear (still dark out), 32, easterly wind up to 20 mph.
-
Here in Pennsylvania, we had warm, to the point of needing ac the first days. It turned cold last night, was down in the 40s. got near 60, but not warm at all. It's supposed to be down in the 30s tonight, amd the 50s tomorrow. Brrrr. The worst is that it's in the upper 70s/ low 80s at home.
-
Clear (some cloudiness), 32, light easterly wind. Was 31 earlier.
Yesterday - high: 40, low: 31
Had our first "cold" spell. Temps will warm up this week with highs in the 60's, lows in the 40's.
-
Clear, 37, very light breeze at times.
-
In the low 50s this morning. It got up to 70, but it's only supposed to go to 60 tonight. Up to 78 tomorrow, then in to the 40s. Brrrr
-
Clear, 49, easterly wind up to 10 mph.
-
It's 61 now, supposed to get close to 40, then a high of 60 tomorrow. And even colder tomorrow night. Brrr
-
mid 40s tonight, mid 70s tomorrow. tomorrow supposed to be a high of 65 with a low of 40. brrr
-
We got down to 41 this morning and they are saying frost in some areas tomorrow. Then we warm back up for a bit and get some rain.
-
In a word, COLD!
-
Ditto that Jen. We're supposed to be upper 30s/low 40s depending on how far inland we are.
-
Cloudy, 57, light breeze at times.
-
Near 80, or over during the day, around 60 at night.
-
