Awhile ago I found a suet bird feeder that was rusty. So I brought it home. I just found my rotary tool and started taking the rust off of the roof of the cage. After I get that part done I'm going to spray paint it with a good primer and then paint it. I think I'll hang that in the tree and then use the other bird feeder in a location that is over the lawn. That's too much work weeding after the birds have made a mess.
