Title: Bird Bath Sun soakers today.

Just when we started to do the kitchen chandelier , the dang birds were having a ball an I had to act quickly.LOL

Post by: bestofour on Oct 25, 2010, 08:36:08 AM: He is a bluebird dodge. I think he's one that grew up in our bluebird box. They chased each other away for a while and then decided they needed a bath more than a fight.

Yesterday there were 5 bluebirds bathing at one time. I'll post pictures later.

Post by: bestofour on Oct 25, 2010, 01:10:25 PM: One of my children gave it to me at Christmas. I'm pretty sure she ordered it out of Birds and Blooms magazine for not a whole lot of money. It's also a solar light, runs on batteries. The birds seems to like it.

It's way cool and I think worth the money. I probably need a bigger bird bath though because it does take up a lot of room in this one.

I don't have a bird bath, but I have been seeing cardinals outside when I let the dogs out. Of course, as soon as the dogs are out, the birds are gone. I don't remember seeing cardinals around here before. They sure are bright and pretty.

One of my sisters really buys for herself or makes sure what others buy her is what she wants. I used to think it was rude but everyone ends up happy because stuff fits or there's a place to put it and no one has to keep up with receipts.
