Title: Is there a new scam?

I got a call supposedly from windows tech support.  She tried to tell me that I was downloading a bunch of stuff.  She woke me out of a dead sleep so I know my computer was off.  I tried to tell her I didn't run windows.  I finally got snotty.  Is this some kind of scam?

It sure sounds like one.  Did they identify who they were?  Aunt Bonnie had something similar happen to her and i think we started a topic about it.

There are lots of scams out there.  Always be skeptical of any unsolicited calls about your computer.

I figured since she didn't know windows was a product of microsoft something was up.  Thanks for the heads up.
