Here we go....post away- the other one is full! Me- I am ready for Spring!! :dancingbunny:
-
What happened to Fall this year?
It is cold here this morning. 29*. I don't like cold.... :(
Thanks for starting up another one, Tonya. :-* I didn't even notice the other was full... ::)
-
My back yard this morning, and keep in mind that the fence is 5 feet high, and thats not a snow drift either (https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi52.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fg13%2Fpennyinontario%2Funtitled-3.jpg&hash=074b0c6ed25da03102f876d2dc84254349197507)
-
Well, I finally ventured outside today and here a picture I took of some of results of our snowstorm. :yikes: It has totally covered my raised bed as well as cage on top that is filled with straw to protect my strawberry plants. :wink5:
(https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi11.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fa154%2Fpatches1414%2FOdds%2520and%2520Ends%2FSnow-12-07Yuk.jpg&hash=bed7af774a89804cd3d7af7e838dadc54ad4cd71)

Cold and crisp here. 29* when I woke up. Killed my huge Pothos and Schefflera. :Crybaby: **sigh** Stupid Doug was supposed to move his cherry(antique) table so I could bring them in and didn't, so I had no room to bring them in. :Crybaby2:
-
That is so sad Tonya.
It is raining and windy here, we are expecting another major storm to be going all day today with high winds, lots of rain and they are forecasting 3 feet of snow in the mountains. I hope it stays cold or we are going to have more flooding.
-
Oh, Tonya, I'm so sorry you lost your plants. I don't know anything about your Pothos, but years ago my Schefflera got bit by freezing temperatures and it looked pretty pathetic. :yikes: But, I brought it inside and it came back for me. :yesssss: I don't know if it will even help, but it's at least worth a try. :wink5:
we are expecting another major storm to be going all day today with high winds, lots of rain and they are forecasting 3 feet of snow in the mountains.
Hey, Triss, keep us posted on what happens. :wink5: I think that could be the storm they're expecting us to get this week-end.
-
were getting about 4 more inches now.. Not that what we needed any more but... Can't fight with the weather :rolleyes1:
-
Oh, Rita, I'm really sorry to hear that, but you don't have any ice do you? :SmileyQmarks: No, you can't fight the weather, but you can complain about it and sometimes that helps you feel better! :rofl1: I hope you don't get too much so it ruins your Christmas plans.
It's above freezing here and supposed to warm up more tomorrow, so I hope it gets rid of all this snow before we get some more this week-end. :SmileyFit: Fortunately, a lot of it is melting already. Here's a picture I took yesterday with one of the limbs that came down with the storm and snow. :(
(https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi11.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fa154%2Fpatches1414%2FOdds%2520and%2520Ends%2FSnow-12-07-limb.jpg&hash=80dd737850ebb03b86b37d09bf4ba3c66d18dfc8)
-
Well, can you believe the snow is all gone, except for the mountain at the back of my yard from where they plowed the parking lot! :yikes: It's already up to 48 degrees right now and they're predicting a high of 53 today. :yesssss: Geesh, this is only 4 days befpre Christmas, so it looks like we're not going to be celebrating with a white Christmas this year, :smileyNo: but, who knows with all the crazy weather we've been having lately. :nutz:
-
Everyone had doors open yesterday. Went by my girlfriends house she had front and back doors open and she and her kids were wearing shorts. This morning was 60 until about noon wind switched from a south wind to a strong north wind about 50 mph in an hour it was 36 and still is right now no shorts today heavy coats and heat on.
-
Hey, Jimmy, it got up to 55 degrees here today, and I was running around in a light jacket. :yesssss: Unfortunatley, things changed rather quickly this evening, and I drove home from my daughter's in sleet and freezing cold temperatures. Right now, it's 28 degrees, but the wind is blowing at 24 mph, so the wind chill is 14! :yikes:
-
that 4 inches turned into 10 inches :Wow: We have lots of the stuff to share! there is about 2 feet in my yard.It would be close to 3 feet but we got some of the ice storm last week that packed it down.. it is suppose to get in the 50's today and rain. I hope it don't cause any flooding over the holiday.
-
We have a forecast of 100% chance of rain today high of 45*, 100% chance of rain and snow tonight. Flood, high winds and hazardous outlook warnings.
Gee lets go C shopping at Wrennies!! :Crybaby2:
-
Geesh, Rita & Wrennie, I'm sorry to hear that about the snow! :( Of course, the snow will really be beautiful for Christmas as long as it's not going to interfere with any of your plans. :wink5: Are either of you doing any traveling for Christmas? :SmileyQmarks:
-
Not me. I'm getting up Christmas morning, putting on some reaaaaaly comfy clothes and relaxing aaaaaaaaaall day.
-
Wrennie, that sounds like a good plan, especially with the weather you've got there. :wink5: Tomorrow, I'm going to a friend's house to celebrate Christmas Eve, but it only takes about 15-20 minutes to get there and so far our weather is okay with nothing in the forecast. :yesssss: A few years ago when we got a bad snow and ice storm and it took me over an hour to get there, then closer to 2 hours to get back home. :thpullhairout: Christmas Day I'm going to my daughter's, and she lives right here in town so that won't be a problem for me either. ;)
-
Its clear and sunny today! relatively warm, compared to the past week.
-
Hey, I'm happy to report that we had some wonderful weather for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! :banana02: It was sunny both days, a little cold yesterday, but no snow or ice to contend with so it wasn't too bad! Well, today it actualy got up to 52 degrees this afternoon, so it was great. :Yahoo: Of course, tonight it's down to 26 right now, but I'm home and snug as a bug in a rug, so it doesn't even bother me. :Whis: I hope everyone had some good weather for all their Christmas celebrations. ;)
-
We had off & on rain all weekend & over Christmas, which is normal for here this time of year. Temps have dipped into the mid to low 30's a couple times, but that never usually lasts very long. (hours.) Snow was forecast at 500 feet for last night, so I went out & covered up several things in the garden yesterday, that I hadn't gotten the chance to do before now. Roseburg sits at 465 feet, but we're on a bluff overlooking the city, so we're up there, somewhere around today's snow line.
 (Gotta check with my new GPS & see if it shows elevation.)
Ten minutes ago, it was 37° & this is what was happening...
(https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi75.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fi309%2Fgottahavegraphics%2FMisc%2FSnow12-26.jpg&hash=e66635a8663927e3a5224b8bbc2ddd9bce852c11)
Pretty, but it wasn't sticking.
Right now it's 42° & the sun is shining bright on everything that's wet! :nutz:
When LaRelle came in to work this morning from 15 miles south, she said there was 3" of snow at her house. Friends 20 miles to the north say they've been getting snow for the past 5 days.
Yay microclimate! :yesssss: :yay_jump: :Yahoo:
-
We have rain! :yay_jump: :yay_jump: :yay_jump:
We need it so badly. I am just glad that it didn't rain while we had the family celebration going on here on Saturday...
The only snow I want to see is the kind like Rita sent me. Y'all keep that cold stuff where you have it.... :grinnnn:
-
Rained and windy this morning. Cleared off this afternoon never got out of the high 40's it is 42 now wind 33mph out of the North. Calling for snow flurries north of us around the Red River not expected here but this is Texas always expect the unexpected.
-
Yay microclimate!
Yes, Patty, I know all about your microclimate and sure do envy you because you can do what everyone around you can't even dream of doing. :SmileyFit:
Actually, we're doing pretty well around here with some milder than normal temperatures, so I'm enjoying it while I can! :yesssss: I can't believe that it got up to 50 degrees today, but it's dropping to freezing tonight. :Whis: I figure every day we get like this will help to keep the heating costs down and that's plus! :wink5:
-
It snowed for a few minute this morning, just enough to cover the horizontal surfaces with a dusting. Now its raining.
-
Been snowing here on and off since Christmas. A couple of inches on the ground with the grass still showing though. Unfortunately there is rain in the forecast for this week so it will all be gone before we know it.
-
Well, the daytime temperatures have been pretty decent since Christmas Eve, but it's gets a lot colder during the night! :SmileyFit: It got up to 47 degrees this afternoon, but it's going to get down to 30 tonight! (https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi17.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb55%2Fthewrensnest%2Fsmileys%2Fwinter_brr.gif&hash=fac9921ec417b21ca2388c068500d392a20f3f28) Still no snow or ice here, but that could change tomorrow since some showers are predicted. :dunno: I'm just hoping it doesn't interfere with my plans to go to my daughter's house to celebrate New Year's Eve! :smileyNo:
-
Snow snow snow. And I think more snow tonight. :hb3: Good weather for staying home.
-
The last couple days have been in the 70s and RAINY! Today- cool(in the 50s) and clear! Can't beat it for New Years Eve!
-
Same here, snow snow and more snow, it does look pretty and its covering the yucky stuff underneath!!
-
here ya go: The little church birdfeeder had no snow around it yesterday. I think its about 14" tall. I really have to measure someday. Here it is with no snow. Quite a bit covered! :laugh1:
(https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi17.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb55%2Fthewrensnest%2FGarden%2Fth_2007_1231fall0001.jpg&hash=dba6d410f477166683dd8a95d2c95a9d0e94a248) (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b55/thewrensnest/Garden/2007_1231fall0001.jpg) (https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi17.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb55%2Fthewrensnest%2FGarden%2Fth_2007_0529garden0013.jpg&hash=32afba2d1fdbe037eba12ddf9af6343ec429ccf2) (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b55/thewrensnest/Garden/2007_0529garden0013.jpg)
If it snows again tonight my mailbox will be an igloo!
(https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi17.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb55%2Fthewrensnest%2FGarden%2Fth_2007_1231fall0002.jpg&hash=df5cfc2b4de85e0cd469dd495894b3267071d069) (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b55/thewrensnest/Garden/2007_1231fall0002.jpg)
-
Awww, look at the little birdfeeder, its covered now!!!
Looks so pretty though!
-
70* outside here today. Sure has been a pretty day. I hope New Year's day brings more of the same for us... :grinnnn:
-
We had a white christmas this year - the first one that I can remember. Woohoo.
Anywho, current weather is windy and cold. I took the girls out to play and it was 27 with about a 20 mph wind. Needless to say, we didn't stay out long. Most of the snow we got last week has melted, only about an inch or two in shady spots and the drifts.
-
Oh the weather outside is frightful. It is snowing, again.
"Periods of snow before 2pm, then periods of rain between 2pm and 4pm, then snow likely after 4pm. High near 35. South wind 8 to 10 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible."
-
It is windy as all get-out here. I went to let Angel out for her morning constitution and the wind about yanked the door out of my hands..... :o
It is cold here, too, now.... :(
-
Info from my new weather station:
Partly cloudy with sun, Temp - 55*F
25 % Humidity
Wind out of W at 5, gust of 9
Big change from 2 days ago is the humidity. It was 94 % but the wind has really dried things out the last 2 days.
-
Right now, in mid-afternoon, it's probably warmer than it has been all day. Actually, it's 22 degrees, but it feels like 7 since we have 20 mph winds, (https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi17.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb55%2Fthewrensnest%2Fsmileys%2Fbrrrrrrrrrrr.gif&hash=d5dfb9a8912a0d5ea6964f64f6968b9b2d75ffb5) so I guess it's pretty cold out there! Well, I'm staying in the house where it's warm and cozy. :wink5:
-
It is cold and clear here. 29 when I got up....it is about 34 here now. I am so not ready for this....
-
Today: Scattered snow showers before 1pm, then a chance for flurries. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 25. Northwest wind between 15 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 2. Wind chill values as low as -12. Northwest wind between 11 and 17 mph.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 14. Wind chill values as low as -12. North wind between 8 and 11 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 3. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm.
-
Looks like we are finally going to get some winter weather for a day or two in South Carolina. It's 34*F now with a wind chill of 29*, 45 % Humidity, wind out of the north at 4 with gust at 9. They are saying we will get down to 17*F tonight. We will have the electric blanket going tonight. Supposed to be this way for a couple of days and then back in the low 70s next week.
-
Well, winter is here and the high today was 24 degrees. Now, it's only 12 degrees, but at least there's no wind tonight. :Whis: Crazy thing, it's supposed to start warming up tomorrow and keep going up for the next couple of days. That's really great because it will help keep the heating costs down for us. :yesssss:
-
Its flippin COLD!!
Today: Sunny, with a high near 13. Wind chill values as low as -13. Northwest wind around 11 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 3. Wind chill values as low as -4. Light west wind.
-
It's 21*F right now and the wind is calm so wind chill is about the same. Humidity is about 70%. The forecast low for tonight was about 17.
The low today was 23* with a wind chill of 13* at about 8AM this morning. But...they say we will be back in the 70s by Monday.
-
Last night, it dropped down to the single digits, so it was mighty cold! (https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi17.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fb55%2Fthewrensnest%2Fsmileys%2Fwinter_brr.gif&hash=fac9921ec417b21ca2388c068500d392a20f3f28) It was a little better today when it got up to 33 degrees. Right now, it's 26, but it feels like 16 with the winds at 14 mph. Today it's going to be in the mid-40's, so it's getting a little better every day!!! God is good!!! :yesssss:
-
Today: Partly sunny, with a high near 25. West wind between 6 and 8 mph.
Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 15. Light west wind.
Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 37. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.
Saturday Night: A slight chance of snow and sleet before 4am, then a slight chance for sleet. Cloudy, with a low around 27. Light southwest wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Sunday: A chance of drizzle. Patchy fog. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 44. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph.
Sunday Night: A chance of drizzle. Patchy fog. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 31.
The thermometer says -4* outside. No wonder I'm feeling colder than yesterday when it was -1* at this time.
-
Wet, wet, wet. I'm loving it. But southern California is getting a lot of rain and sandbags are the lawn ornaments of the hour all over.
-
Oh, geesh, Wrennie, I really feel for you! :yikes: I hate cold weather, but we're finally warming up here, but I don't know how long it will last. :dunno:
Tina, I saw the terrible storms California was having and there are so many people out of power. I was wondering how close that was to you! :scaredy:
The high here today was 47 degrees and tomorrow it's supposed to be in the low 50's with showers, then Saturday in the low 60's. :yesssss: I guess my flowers will start thinking it's spring, but that's NOT good. :smileyNo: I know Mother Nature isn't even close to being finished with with us yet. :Whis:
-
It was a cold 22* here this morning and I am NOT loving it. Every bone related injury I have ever had is protesting the weather this morning. At least it is supposed to warm up to about 45-50* later on.
-
well we haven't had snow in over a month now, an was so mild, but it changed fast, now its so cold, the fjørd is starting to freeze up (salt water fjørd) an it sure is crunchy out there where ever you walk,,, but still no snow.
-
Hey, it's warming up here and right now it's 55 degrees. Tomorrow it is supposed to get up to 65 or higher with winds. :yay_jump: They said that it could set a record here! :wink5: Of course, I know we're going to have to pay for this. :scaredy: The only questions is when and how! :dunno:
-
You know its been cold when you get up in the morning, go outside and think yay it's warm out, look at the thermometer and see34* is whats feeling warm! :yikes:
-
Yesterday got to 77 overnight lows was 55 today projected high 8o or above. They can't seem to decide what they think their computer says. I am so glad it is winter hate thinking about this summer :hot: :hot: :hot: :hot:
-
I prefer winter weather too, Jimmy. But my bones don't and my bones are ruling me right now.
We had torrential rains overnight. More to come today and tonight it might turn to snow. If it is snowy slushy roads in the morning, I am not driving Ted to school.
-
Been stuck in the fog here the last 2 days. Temps are in the upper 30's so that is o.k.. We still have green grass under the melted snow.
-
Well, can you believe it got up to 74 degrees here today. It's beautiful and I've been outside enjoying the spring weather. :Glee: I don't ever remember having weather like this in January; of course, next week may be an entirely different story. At least, this will help take a little edge off the power bill. :yesssss:
Geesh, Jimmy and Tina, guess we're cut from a different mold because I don't like the cold temperatures and love the warm weather. :wink5:
-
It is mostly cloudy here, the sunshine weakly slipping through the high wispy clouds. I think it is supposed to get up to the 50's today, which will be a pleasant deviation from the norm. It was in the 50's yesterday, so we took the girls out to run off some energy while we raked up about ten thousand little broken branches and pulled them out of the ground as well. On the plus side, out front yard is all cleaned up, minus the humongous pile of branches. Do not look at my backyard.
-
A lil sun here today but not too much. More rain in the forecast and lil flurries of snow. Won't be enough to stick but as always it is pretty to watch falling.
-
It was nice out today, and it got up to the mid-70's. :yay_jump: Well, now I guess it's payback time. :yikes: There are tornado warnings and watches all around us here tonight. :SmileyFear: On the 10:00 news, they said that three people were killed by a tornado in Missouri somewhere southwest of us, :crying: but don't know any details yet. The forecast is for strong storms and wind tonight, and we are under a tornado watch until 5:00 am. :scaredy: Say some prayers that it goes around us and that there are no more deaths or injuries from these storms.
-
It's snowing out right now. Guess the weatherman was wrong when he forecasted another day of low 50's. I doubt any of it will last long thanks to the warm temps the past few days but it sure is pretty too look at.
-
Well we still don't have any snow, just a dusting we got yesterday... thought it was going to snow, started to snow but stopped. Its just cold,, an i mean cold,, over here its what is called booger freezing weather,,, take a breath an your frozen to your brain. (sorry to be gross, its the brain freeze)
-
Ok.......we went from this the week of Christmas (https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi52.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fg13%2Fpennyinontario%2FDSC00055.jpg&hash=0bd07ed45c74ddc2d63430bf34d09967ed7d2256).....and one more (https://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi52.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fg13%2Fpennyinontario%2Funtitled-3.jpg&hash=074b0c6ed25da03102f876d2dc84254349197507)................to this, taken today at 12pm

-
Wow thats a big difference! Alot of ours melted from the warm weather but we still have alot. No rain here either.
-
:Glee: feels like spring here! snows gone, muds drin up, i wanna plant somthing!! says 48* but fels warmer :grinnnn:
:Wow: thats a huge diffrence!
-
:laughmao: Its 53 here today and the last thing that Brad said to me as he was leaving this morning...............NO raking the lawn :Whis: :Whis: :laughmao: :laughmao: :laughmao:.....he knows me well :grinnnn: :grinnnn: :grinnnn: :grinnnn:
-
Doesnt raking now just yank up the grass by the roots?
-
Doesnt raking now just yank up the grass by the roots?
Dunno, probably, i just hate that it looks soooooo yucky out there!!
-
OK heres my yard now. Notice across the street the whole flat yard is still covered.
*broken link removed*
-
Doesnt raking now just yank up the grass by the roots?
Yep, that will do it, especially when the ground is so wet. :SmileyFit:
Last night, we got lots and lots of rain and some strong winds here, but there was no real damage. A few trash cans were tossed about in some of the yards here. Right now, it's 60 degrees with light showers and some wind, but I have my windows open and it feels so good to get some fresh air in the house. ;) Tonight it's supposed to get down to freezing. :yikes:
-
The tornadoes are not anywhere near you, Patti? I thought a couple were in Ill?
It is still cool here, mid 60's. And sprinkles tonight. But we will be warming up the rest of the week. That is good except for the wind.
-
No, Tina, they really weren't near here, :smileyNo: but we did get a lot of wind and quite a bit of rain. About 1-1/2" inches in our area, but there were some places that got up to 3-1/2". Actually, I didn't hear of any tornados in Illinois, but I missed the news tonight. The ones that hit Missouri aren't that close to here, although we did get part of the same storms. :scaredy:
-
Its raining here again, my grass is back to green, i have buds coming up in my gardens and the winds are wicked here today!!!
-
Major change for you Penny. The sun is out this morning, a bit of a break from the clouds and rain and a sanity break for those of us who need the sun to stay happy. I sure enjoy these mornings and keep popping outside just to bask in the sunshine. I know it will not last all that long.
-
It is cloudy, rainy, but warm out here. 60* at 7am! I can deal with that in January!
-
Today is cold, clear and the sun is out, no rain, first day since last Saturday with no rain!!
-
We've been holding our own here with temperatures in the mid-40's with the nighttime temps around freezing. Sure can't complain for the 10th of January in the midwest. ;)
-
The high was 77* here yesterday. Today it is supposed to be 69*...
-
:razberry: I sure could use a good warm day. well I should not complain it hasn't been so cold .. but today is 30 and pouring out!
-
it's foggy here. When it clears I hope to get back to the grocery store for a few more staples.
-
today is 30 and pouring out!
Geesh, Rita, I sure hope you don't get any icy roads with that kind of weather. :yikes:
Today, it got up to 44 degrees with no wind and tonight it's 27, but that's still pretty decent for this time of the year. :wink5:
-
It was pretty warm yesterday, windy rainy & thuinder in the morning. Today is supposed to be in the low 40's (31* is our ;normal' temp this time of year) then cooling off and possible snow over the next few days.
-
 its snowing, started early this morn, supost to get mixed snow n rain, that spring like weather we had spoiled me, i want spring!
-
Hey, Christy, I want spring too, I'm so tired of staying in the house! :thpullhairout: I want to get out and work in the yard. It's 34 degrees today and with the wind chill it feels like 24, but the sun is shining, so I'm not complaining. I think it's supposed to warm up some tomorrow, so it may not be bad when I go to school. ;)
-
we got snow here too about 8 or so inches. we are suppose to get some fluries all week long
-
50% chance of snow with accumulations of less than 1 inch. A high if 31*
-

What an amazing picture biita... I would LOVE to live in a land of snow and ice like that, at least part time. :grinnnn:
We had snow and ice last night on top of the rain. It was pretty to wake up to but is already melting away with the sun.

Geesh, Triss, you can have that if you want it, but it's not for me. :smileyNo: I have dealt with it all my life and it's just not my favorite kind of weather.
It was cold today! Right now, it's 25 degrees with a wind chill of 17, so I'm glad to be tucked in for the night. ;)
-
Boy is it ever cold here this morning! 26* :thspeechless-vi: I want spring!! :SmileyFit:
-
Its cool here and dark, not snowing at the moment, but looks like it will later.
-
Cold and sunny here. At least it isnt that depressing gray. Thank goodness.
-
Hey, Wrennie, I agree with you, it's sure a lot easier to tolerate the cold when it's sun is shining. ;) I hate that gloomy, gray depressed looking sky :( It sure contributes to the "winter blues" when the sky is like that!
Right now, it's 44 degrees, but it feels a little colder with the wind. Tonight it will be down around freezing. Sure glad I've got all my plants tucked in for their long, winter nap. :yesssss:
-
Well, we've been getting sleet and light snow all afternoon - it started around 9 this morning. At first it all melted but now it is starting to stick. The winds have been horrible, blowing steady 25 and gusting to over 30. I went out to walmart while the streets were still wet (not anywhere near slick yet) and I saw the funniest thing -- something like a 4 door civic high centered on a rock, on top of a median in a parking lot! The bottom of the car was probably 2.5 ft off the pavement. All four tires were off the ground. :laughmao: :laughmao: I bet that driver felt real intelligent. I can't laugh to hard, with my luck that could happen to me! :cringe:
-
It is sleeting outside. I don't like it, I don't want it...why is it here? :(
Bring back my sunny weather!
-
Oh geesh, Sarah, don't tell me that. :smileyNo: Tonight they amended the 10:00 news and said it was snowing in Kansas City and it's headed our way. That's sure not what I needed to hear :yikes: since I have school tomorrow. ;)
-
It is a cool 40* and rainy here....sure glad we aren't getting any sleet/wintery mix like some other parts of the state!
-
I am going to like this thread a whole lot better in about 14 weeks,....... :yikes: 14!!!!
-
It's snowing here. Since I don't have to go anywhere i'm just sitting here looking at how pretty it is before it gets all slushy and ugly. I should take out the trash though before it melts and freezes. that's when it becomes a mess.
-
rainy here....sure glad we aren't getting any sleet/wintery mix
Hey, Tonya, I'm with you on that one! Evidently, the weather Sarah was getting went in a different direction or mother nature ran out of snow because we didn't get any. I agree, Wrennie, this thread will be more enjoyable in about 14 weeks. ;)
It's raining here too, and 35 degrees with a wind chill of 28, but the roads are good so far. I shouldn't have any problems today, but I just pray they're still okay after my night class.

It was sleeting here last night, before we went to bed. Woke up this morning and it is all just a cold rain now...
I want my 70* temperatures back!
