Title: just heard on the news that a new fruit fly in the northwest been attacking . .

 WithBerries. Farmers are trying to set out traps to save their crops. ...don't know about you all but my garden has been struggling and it is just sad so the last thing I need is another thing trying to get my garden lol

Just wanted to give those of you a heads up and wish you  :thgoodluck-vi:with your gardens!

Though my blueberry crop is awesome this year but my veggies are sure struggling but I did plant a garden for a friend way early and theirs is fine.

So who knows lol

I have 8 :) but i also get some from the berry farm close by ..made a marion berry cobbler today it was very yummy..and its all gone!! lol

I have not done anything with marion berries yet but I do like them.

I eat blueberries every day but I've never seen marion berries.

They are like blackberries on steroids. HUGE and juicy...

Aren't they a NorthWest thing? I had never heard of them before living in Oregon.

They come from Oregon yes..ive read that is where they originated.  I didnt know that once and was in vancouver canada well west van with my grandma and was stopping by all the fruit stands along the roads and nobody knew what marionberrys where nor had any lol
