Think we finally are into our rainy season now. Been really really dry for far too long.

William, we had rain all summer. Almost every day from the beginning of July through Sept. So far though, October has been dry and super nice. Including today.

Has been absolutely beautiful here the last 2 days. Nightly lows in low 60s and daily highs in high 70s to low 80s with extremely low humidity (makes all the difference). Not a cloud in the sky. Hopefully it will remain through tomorrow.

It's been warm again this week with the humidity thrown back in there, but supposed to have a cold front come back through on Sun. They say some of the inland areas might even hit the high 30s. brrr.

it is overcast and gloomy but we aren't even supposed to get any rain. even though i'm closer to the coast, dianna and sheri will have more of the storm than i will. because of the way the coast hooks in. it's about 68 and if i were inclined i might could enjoy it out there, but i don't want to leave my nest...

It's quite warm today, but tomorrow the cold front comes through and Mon./Tues our highs aren't even supposed to reach 70. Our lows are going to be cold (for me - 40s/ 50s).

So far we haven't had too much wind from Sandy. I don't think we have had any rain at all. The highest wind gust has been about 15 with sustained winds of 8-10. Our temperature is changing. We are supposed to get some high 30's for the lows on Tuesday and Wednesday. I may have to turn on the heater when the nights get that cold.

I turned the heat on last night. We are supposed to have some nights down in the high 30's so I guess it's time for the heat.

it rained. we are down to 76 and supposed to have rain off and on all night with temps down to around 50. the rest of the week the temps are supposed to be highs mid 70s and lows low 50's and falling through the week to the 60s/40s. and my heat still isn't fixed.

Looks like our low this morning was 31°. I didn't run the pool pump but I don't think it froze. We didn't have much wind to go with the cold but I had some good frost on the truck this morning. If the wind chill had been below freezing for several hours, then I would have had to run the pump to keep it from freezing.
We are supposed to gradually warm up next week.

We are finally getting some rain. We've had a little dry spell recently. One day the humidity was less than 19% and that is unheard of for us. Our high today is supposed to be in the 40s. I looked a bit ago and it was 39 here in Sumter and raining steady. My weather station says .73 inches of rain since midnight so it seems we are going to get a bit more rain than they originally thought. We need the rain though.

i think we hit 70 today, but supposed to only be 60 tomorrow. low tonight of 40 (it's 56 right now) but the low tomorrow night is supposed to be 30 :freezin: i don't like the thought of that. at all.

It was a nasty and rainy day yesterday here too. I think it rained on me all the way home. Today looks much better. It's still a bit cool but the sun is shining nice. Temp is about 52° here in Sumter.

Cold this morning. Just now up to 32° in Sumter. Our low last night was 29°. I ran the pool pump all night so it wouldn't freeze. It's supposed to warm up to the mid 60s today and the 70s by the weekend.

Last I heard they were talking about a mild winter for us. Of course come January we may be in a deep freeze. It's happened before. For my part I hope it's a mild one. I really like the weather where you don't need heat or air conditioning and it is comfortable to be outside in shirt sleeves.

Me too. I don't mind the cold/cool nights as long as we get this much sunshine during the day.

Got up to 77 today. Quite warm actually. I just closed the windows a short time ago. Cools down quick once the sun goes down. Supposed to be foggy in the morning - meaning humidity is coming back too.
