Outings, vigils, investigations
« on: Aug 05, 2006, 10:26:00 PM »
I hope we get some activity in this topic. It would be great to get together and visit some interesting places nearby or even plan a road-trip. The possibilities are endless.

How about a trip to Savannah?

How about a cemetery outing someplace close by?

Everybody wants to go, so lets decide on a location.  For the folks that are local, maybe we should come up with 3 locations, do a poll (haven't done one of those yet) and decide where to go.  For those that aren't local, I promise we will post a detailed investigation/outing report.

You are more than welcome to come here to SC, too, Susan! Who knows? I know that Jacksonville has one place that we really want to investigate...

Thanks Susan, we will put St. Augustine on the list.  Tell us about some of the spots you have or are planning to visit.  I know we would all love to hear about some good hot spots.  We have talked about planning a trip to Jacksonville and Savannah.

According to Mapquest St. Augustine is only 275.09 miles or 4 hours 36 minutes from here. We could do that.

I figured out how to do the thread! My husband  travels a lot in  his job, so coming  up to SC or  GA isn't out of the question. I would love to go on your next outing. Let  me know, I  have  my reply ON... dah... so I'll be more intuned.

St. Augustine is a great place, full of history.  I've been there many times and there are quite a few places that feel....well just a little different.  If you are the least bit sensitive you can simply feel "somehting's different".

Hi Susan...haven't met you yet.  I'm up here in Jax. and it's great to have someone on here that is fairly close to me ;D
