i got water hyacinth this summer for my pond n no blooms all summer they are tender for my zone n was told to bring em in for winter so i did stuck em in vaces in the bathroom, now one blooms!!!
is this supost to happen? do they bloom wile indoors for winter? maybe its cause there under the light? should i put em in a dark place or are they ok?

I know of several people who put a few in their fish tanks to overwinter them, and they seem to be happy and healthy in the house. As long as it's looking okay, I would leave it where it is and enjoy having blooms in you bathroom!

thanks sarah! there still in the bathroom, not much room to put em anywere else, lol.
the blooms gone but they still look nice n healthy. so ill leave em in there anyhow.
