Peacock Orchids
« on: Nov 17, 2007, 07:50:47 AM »
Well the peacock orchids I planted this year did great as far as comming up but of course no flowers this year.  So I dug them up in preparation for my move.  Should I overwinter them in the house or should I leave them outside to die back?

I really love the pictures I've seen of these so I definitely want to have them at the new place and I'm out of the little seeds/bulblets.

Any information you can share would be welcome.

Well I might have figured out why they didn't bloom.  I planted them in full shade and they like full sun.  So when the leaves die back I'll transplant them to the top of the bed where they will get full sun.

Thank you.  I like them.  If I get babies I'll try to remember to send you some.
