i started out letting her pull the needle up through n then she wanted to completely take over!    :duel:   :laughmao:

she's usaly happy just sittin in the chair with me pulling the needle through but now she wants to do more, think ill get some scrap n put it in one of the lil hoops for her, n hope she will be satified with that instead of wanting to do mine   :duel:  :laugh1:

 How cute Christy.. Sounds like she could use a little hoop for some sewing.. wonder what or how she would do?
I am thrilled about the material .. Now I can get back to work and not worry about it.

Cool designs Christy.

Do you think that BB would like to sew on plastic canvas with yarn?  You can get her the larger dull needles for them and it will be her own thing.  If you think she would like it, I am pretty sure I have a bunch of plastic canvas around here I can send on over.

Awesome designs, Christy!! I wish I could do stuff like that! (My brain doesn't "see" things like your does! )

Good idea, Triss on the plastic!! They do make plastic needles that I think you could probably find in the craft stores or something...Summer's GS troop used them to make their sit-upons last year. Not sure how expensive they are, but it's an idea.

Yes Tonya, they do make plastic yarn needles.  Not sharp at all and very easy for kids to thread and use.

I got to sew today!!!   :dancingbunny:  I finished up all of my blocks for Alyssa's quilt.  Next time I get a chance to sew, I can start putting them together.

Here are all of my blocks!  I am so excited about getting a move on this.

Thanks Tonya, I am really excited about it.  With any luck I can get some more work done on it today or tomorrow though it is harder since the boys are home now and I know I have running around to do tomorrow.

This is the 'quilt block I am trying to do something with. I think a couple of border rows and then make it into a pillow.

Christy,  those colors with your design are going to look great!

And I love your square as well Wrennie.  I did see large hoops over at Michael's if you decide you need them but no hooks that you were looking for.
