My collard greens

Just showing off what my collards look like. :BigGrin: This is one of the bigger heads of them. I forgot to get a pic of the cabbage before I turned it into sauerkraut(7 quarts and 3 pints plus a pint of cores :ThumbUp: ). Here ya go-

Thats a nice bunch of greens. Never tasted a collard. It looks like its related to a cabbage and cauliflower.

I was thinking that myself, Wrennie.....it looks like a really loose head of cabbage. Mine were a bit bitter, but the smaller leaves are a wonderful flavor!

Oh wow Tonya, thats the first that i have seen collards before too, looks like cabbage to me.

I didn't think anything grew in the winter time .. That is cool Tonya looks like they liked their home!  :ThumbUp:
