I found a few of these in my front gardens today while weeding. They seem to be some type of tree...

Do youi have any mature trees in the neighborhood with immature leaves that are similar? I am no way an expert on trees.

Doesn't look anything like the blackberries we have growing wild around here.  I'm thinking it looks very similar to the leaves on my river birch.

looks like a young birch leaf to me too. Show us again when they open more. What trees grow nearby? I had some baby ash trees from the tree across the street
