Absolutely beautiful Sarah. I love the roses so bright against the purple. Looks so good there.

Looks great Wrennie, I really like how your gardens look so natural against your rolling hills.

I love that, Wrennie! You are doing a great job.
The front from the church parking lot...
And the front with the thyme blooming...
All of my once a year blooming roses are going strong right now.

Very pretty and calming landscape, Wrennie. It just invites you to sit down and enjoy nature. How is the patio going? Is it close to your gardens?
Beautiful, Sarah. Have you gotten any room left for more plants?
I bet people are always stopping by to just look at what you have accomplished. Does anyone else garden on your street?

At least once a day I find someone standing out front looking.
If I am outside, most will comment, and a few will ask if my mom planned the gardens.
They are shocked to find a younger person who gardens.
And, of course there is more room for plants...get the shoehorn out.

With the weather being so weird this year, none of my flower beds have done anything worth taking a full shot of, until now. In my Lily bed, the Princess & Day Lilies have been at it for a few weeks & the yellow Asiatics & purple Callas have been open for several days. The yellow Callas & white Asiatics finally started opening up today.
It would be nice if ALL the Lilies would bloom at the same time, but as it is, I get a continuous succession of gorgeous Lilies all summer long, so I guess that's alright...
(but what IS it, with different color flowers from the same type of plants, opening up at different times? That has never made any sense to me!)
In February I asked for fill-in suggestions for my lily bed, in another topic here... & now that I look back on it, I see that I never followed up in that thread, with what I decided.
(Will hafta take care of that, when I get a spare minute.)
I went with perennial Sweet Alyssum... transplanted it from here & there, in different places around my yard, & I'm pretty happy with it, so far. I have Basil coming up at the corners & across the front of the bed, & I think they'll look great when they get a bit bigger. Basil is an annual, of course, but it's easy to control the height without hurting the plant, & it'll also hide the dirt while it serves as a deer barrier, to keep the snackers out of the bed.
(The yellow flowers on the left, aren't Lilies. It's a mountain shrub, called Shrubby Cinquefoil.)

Looks awesome Patty. That is the space under your front window, right? I really love how it has all filled in out there!
