My Favorite Annual
« on: Jun 11, 2008, 10:47:13 AM »
Ok, one of my favorite annuals lol.

Today I planted mixed colors of the Celosia argentea var. plumosa.  The Yellow, Orange, and Red.  Hopefully they will sprout.  They are a couple years old and I'm alittle worried.  But I love these plants so I'm hoping that they will do well.  I decided to put them in a pot because I've tried direct sowing them before and I couldn't keep them moist enough to sprout.

I love celosia, too. :) The little plumes look so graceful blowing in the wind...

I can't really pick a favorite annual or perennial. I find too many that I really like for different reasons... :grinnnn:

Yep that's why I had to amend it to read one of my favorite annuals.  There are many that I really like too.

The Dragonwing Begonia is another favorite.
