Odd little purple flower

Some very strange little plants have shown up in one of my flower beds!
I almost pulled them out last week, but since there were only a few of them, I assumed they weren't "weeds" & decided to let them go, so I could watch them. One of the odd little pods opened up today...
I went back out to try for a clearer pic, & it apparently closes up when it starts getting dark, so this was the best I could get...
The one that bloomed doesn't appear to have any leaves, but one just like it is coming up nearby, & it has long, thin, needle-like leaves, similar to those that Crocus have...
Anyone know what it might be? I don't want to dig it up to see if it's a bulb or a root plant, & I've never had any Crocus in that bed, so I don't have a clue.
