What is this pretty flower? [Solved] Maltese Cross
« on: Jul 06, 2008, 09:03:50 PM »
Last year I got one bloom and missed it with the camera and this year I have several.  I guess it is more of a salmon color than red but I sure like it.

The leaves look a little like a zinnia, Triss.  If it isn't then I have no idea.

That is maltese cross plant. It's my all-time favorite, due to the history of the maltese cross. Be sure to put it where it has room. Mine is 4 years old this year, and about 3' across.

Thanks for that Sarah, could someone mark this one as solved?  It has a lot of room but seems to be tall and spindly though bigger than last year.  It seems to like it spot but had to reach for the sun cuz of the buttercup getting a lil outta control.  Have a pic of yours?
