Apparently, everyone has the ability to do this in varying degrees, with proper training.  The US military had a program dedicated to remove viewing, and Major Ed Dames was responsible for that unit.  I have included four interviews with him on the subject.

Joni Dourif was one of the first civilians trained to remote view.  Here is Joni demonstrating her ability for a TV news crew, who were doing an investigatory story on the subject.

The company that Joni heads developed a home training kit for those who want to become remote viewers.  They are clearing out the VHS version of the training kit for $159.00.  The original price was $500.00.

There are also many online classes that can be taken with TRV University, also part of Joni's company.  They are a lot more expensive, but for those who don't like self study, or those who want to take their abilities to new heights, the online classes may work better.

The applications appear to be limitless; helping to find missing people or lost objects, remote viewing murder scenes to help police with investigations, tracking criminals, and for those who are not happy in the love department, there is even an online class, also through TRV University, that will teach you the techniques to locate your optimum mate through remove viewing, which I suppose translates to soul mate, or true love.

Good information Shaman, we did have another topic about remote viewing.  It's here : http://www.southernspirithunters.com/smf/index.php/topic,44.0.html.  There are also a couple of YouTube videos in that topic also.  I didn't re-read the topic but there was some interest in trying this.  Maybe you posting this will rekindle the interest.

Thanks Jim, I will checkout the prior posts as well.  I found the Ed Dames training DVD's in Ebay for about $200.00.  I would probably go for that rather than the VHS tapes, just because the DVD's would last longer if you had to go back and do refreshers, and I don't even have a VHS player anymore.  If anyone is considering this, I would look at the fine print to see what support you get with the training information.  I think this would be difficult to do without being fed "targets" so that you can continue to hone your skills.  Some of the companies selling these training kits appear to offer this "free" for a few months, after which you would have to pay.  Other products, appear to have no limit on it.  I believe Ed Dames version doesn't have any limit, but I would have to go back and reread it myself to confirm it.  Anyone thinking of purchasing should be sure to read the fine print.  I suppose other group members might also be able to provide targets for anyone trying to develop this skill.
