After identifying the Mountain Garland in the garden, the other plant I was not so sure about bloomed.  It is a beautiful flower with a variety of colors but I have no idea what it is.   Any thoughts?  You can also see some of the Mountain Garland as well as a California Poppy in the pics.

Hi there stranger.  No, I do not think a geranium as the plants leaves are wrong for that.  These are long pointed ovals.

Oh I have that one.  I guess I forgot to post it but my FIL found out.  Here is the online information on it.  I will be saving seeds if anyone wants any.

Farewell-to-Spring
Clarkia amoena (Onagraceae)

A short annual native to California which has spread into British Columbia. Requires very little moisture once established, but needs sufficient water during germination and early growth. Flower color is pink and red and is made up of four fan-shaped petals. Prefers full sun in well drained soils. The most flambouant western native wildflower.

Average planting success with this species: 70%
Height: 12-18 inches
Germination: 25-35 days
Optimum soil temperature for germination: 60-70F
Sowing depth: 1/16"
Blooming period: May-July
Suggested use: Roadsides, mixtures, floral gardens.
Miscellaneous: Prolific bloomer throughout summer. Named for its discoverer Captain William Clark of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Does not transplant well.

We are all under the same stars, therefore we are never far apart.

Blame Jim for that one, he sent it to me.  I love it.

I was happy to find out my plant as well.  I cannot wait to harvest the seeds.
