Overwintering Peppers
« on: Sep 18, 2008, 09:14:44 AM »
Since learning that peppers are perennials if hot climates I've been planning on bringing mine in.  So since the temperatures got down to the 60's a few days ago I figured it was time.  I dug up 4 of the miniature chocolate peppers and brought them inside.  So far they seem to be handling the transplant pretty good.

I have two peppers on the gypsy plant that I'd like to harvest so I'm trying to keep them outside until I can do that.  Then I want to bring that one in too if I can.

I will be bringing in my habanero to overwinter and might just bring in the other two as well.  Have not decided that one yet.

We are all under the same stars, therefore we are never far apart.

The mini chocolate peppers have created little peppers.  they look like green cherry peppers at the moment.  I hope it stays warm enough for these to mature.
