Topic: Need some recipes using canned tomatoes

Our church is having an open house.  The theme is preparedness.  One of the booths will be meals prepared out of our food storage.  Well one thing I have an abundance of are canned whole tomatoes.  And I'm trying to think of something I can make a lot of using whole canned tomatoes.  The trouble is that I can't use any fresh ingregients in the dish. 

I could use some help deciding what to do with this one.  Thanks for your help in advance.

How about spaghetti sauce?

1 can tomatoes (crushed or chopped)
dehydrated onion(if you have it in the cupboard)
garlic powder or garlic salt
dried oregano
dried parsley
whatever other spices you prefer in yours.

Put in a pot and simmer until noodles are done(those are in your pantry also )

Another would be a minestrone type of soup.  The tomatoes plus cans of beans, veggies, spice it up Italian style and toss in pasta at the end for a wonderfully hearty meal, with or without meat from the freezer.
