Bread baking club ~ recipe #4
« on: Oct 17, 2008, 10:46:16 AM »
It's time for a new recipe!

http://www.thekneadforbread.com/2008/10/10/simple-pumpernickel/

I have made this bread twice now, once with the bran flakes, once without. Both turned out fantastic! I toasted a few slices and made tuna sandwiches on them... :9536: It's going to be hard to top that.  :grinnnn:

Give it a try!

This one looks good.  I think I would like to try it as well.  I always love dark breads when we go out to restaurants but have never been able to duplicate one.

We are all under the same stars, therefore we are never far apart.

That is how I felt, Triss. I've tried a few other recipes and never found one I liked. This one is awesome!

Oh goodness, recipe 4??  I'm still trying to find time for recipe 1.  Arg!

But, I love, love, love, love, looooove pumpernickel (and rye) bread, so perhaps I will be skipping some recipes...

Sarah, no need to do the recipes in any particular order, or even do them all. They are only numbered so I can keep up with where I am.  :giggle:
