That looks terrific, Sarah. And fattening.
There used to be a Swedish smorgasbord (classy-style) here that had in big letters over their front door, "Food should be served with butter and love". It was wonderful. And I have been a believer ever since.
I have bacon cooking which will go into the slow cooker with potatoes and peppers and onions (and maybe a late addition of cheese) for my own modified loaded potatoes. This will last me 2-3  days unless Jonni is hungry for them too.

barleychown, how did the gnocchi turn out?  The Olive Garden has a chicken and gnocchi soup that is out of this world.

We had fish sticks, squash and potato casserole, slaw and tomatoes out of the garden.

Once in a while I have hankering for fish sticks.

I have been forgetting to eat lately. But when I do I am trying to make fairly healthy choices. But simple. Yesterday was cottage cheese scooped up on crackers and some grapes. I think I ate some grapes?

I forgot to eat lunch Friday and around 5 I was starved and couldn't figure out why.  Then it dawned on me - no lunch.

Tonight I had a home grown tomato sandwich and store bought potato salad and 3,000 chocolate chip cookies.

Last night I fixed a pressed salami sandwich.  Tonight it's bratwursts and whatever else I can find that is super quick and easy.

Yep.  I love cookies.  Especially peanut butter.

Tonight it's Johnny's favorite.  Meatloaf.  He's a low maintenance kind of guy.  Augratin potatoes and green peas.

We had pork fried rice with chicken wings last night for supper from our local Thai restaurant. Sure was good. :licklips: That is what I am eating for lunch right now.

Still haven't figured out supper for tonight yet... ::)
