Transplanting Ditch Lilies
« on: Aug 25, 2009, 10:39:11 AM »
I have two nice sized clumps of ditch lilies.  I'd like to move them out to my ditch.  I'm thinking that fall would be the time to do that.  Does anyone have any clues for me.  I'm pretty bad at transplanting things.  All your info would be appreciated.

Cut off the tops of the plants (before or after they are dug up) in an inverted "v" (^) about 4-6 inches above the root clump. And plant at the same level they were in your garden. Leave a little room between for them to expand and multiply. Ditch lilies are easy.
