Looks Familiar - [Solved] Dianthus "Sweet William"
« on: Apr 30, 2007, 09:22:07 AM »
I should know what this is, but can't for the life of me....

I planted something there last year, but I've looked through my seed stash & can't find anything that matches it.

The birds might have been at it again... they bring me such delightful things!
(I hope it's not a weed, cuz I sorta like it!)

Patty, the only pictures I can see is the pretty little pink flower that your birds brought you.  On the first picture all I get is a little box with a red "x" in it and when I try to click to show picture it does nothing.  I love the pink flowers.   :)

It looks like dianthus to me too, and all I can see is one picture as well.

Oops! I had some duplicates in my PhotoBucket, & apparently got rid of the wrong ones!
Here, let me fix that for yuz...

Thanx for the ID guys... I have no idea where I got Dianthus seeds, but apparently that's what I'd planted there!

OK, "Sweet William" is the name I couldn't remember, but I knew I'd seen the flower before.  I didn't know that its other name was Dianthus.

Thanx, guys!
