Right, but this is pretty much the first time.  I should try to be smart more often.

It's the truth.

Have you figured out what you're having for dinner yet?  It must be time for you to start thinking about what meat you will stop and buy.

Probably a peanut butter sandwich.  Johnny's on his own.

I ended up going to McDonalds drive through and getting a regular burger, no onions extra pickles, small fry AND a small chocolate shake.  How long has it been since you've had a shake???  It was great.

It's been a long time since I have had a shake.  That sounds good.

Tonight it's Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches.  The chicken gets cooked up in the crock pot and the sandwich part assembled later.  When I told Adam it was being made in the crockpot, his response was, "Won't the bread be gross?"  So, no, the bread is NOT going into the crockpot.   :giggle:

We don't actually eat out much either.  We bring it home a lot though.  We'll be eating in Charleston tonight.  Rehearsal dinner.

Poor Jim had to wait until we got to Cracker Barrel today to eat breakfast and then I made him eat leftovers for supper...

I didn't have to cook today! :good2:

Thank goodness I had some sense to plan last week.  I had meatballs in the freezer so we are having spaghetti and meatballs for dinner.  Other wise it would have to be air-sandwiches.  :giggle:

I cheated.  After girl scouts I went to pick up some Chicken helper (which was my first cheat) and after seeing only one option (alfredo), I saw a box of Homestyle bakes with what looked like mac n cheese with ham and a breadcrumb topping (which is my super-huge cheat).  Just mix and put in the oven.  And it's actually hashbrowns, not macaroni, but as long as it is smooshy my new filling and I should get along just fine.

How can you know that already???  I don't even know what I'm going to have for breakfast yet.
Dear Lord, On this day, please wrap your arm around my shoulder and keep your hand over my mouth.  Amen

I have always done it this way, ever since the girls were little and had to know what i was cooking on the fly.
That way too, things have a chance to thaw out, if need be.

Did you stop to eat? :grinnnn: I think Mariachi's has the best Mexican food  out of any place I have tried, unless it is the Mexican buffet at Rosarita's in Summerville. Both places are fantastic! :licklips:

I love Mexican food!
