Jenn, are you using the k, u, and 8 key when you are doing this?

* works for me. That is a lot of work for a single symbol.

You can also take a look at Start > Accessories  > System Tools > Character map and select the symbol there.  You copy it and then insert it with CTRL-V.

i agree tina... the code, i could do, but the copy stuff, no way...
Jenn, are you using the k, u, and 8 key when you are doing this?
i bet that's why it didn't work jess.  i can barely see the function  codes on the keys, and i was using the k, u, and o.  the 6 looked like an 8.  i'll try again, and if not, tina said it best!

The calm before the storm continues here. Sunshine with highs getting to 80°. Then tomorrow the weather will begin to deteriorate. How bad remains to be seen.

That is great weather for a first work day, Wrennie.
We are to be just like yesterday, maybe getting briefly into the upper 70's and sunny most of the day.

Today started off really nice and sunny but as we were heading home about 5 it was getting cloudy and a little breezy.  High temperature today for us was 79° and is currently 66°.  They are calling for 100% chance of rain tomorrow due to Hurricane Ida.

38F and rain, quite windy at times.

Got the paper and pickup a pretty good sized twig from the road and set it aside, a little messy out, you'd think we had a big storm.

Misting rain and cool here too.  Low this morning was 45° and it's about 50° now.  Slight breeze as well so it is a bit chilly to be outside.

I live in California. But we got into the upper 30's last night. Should be pretty warm today though in the low 70's before dropping down again. Sunny though

We had that damp cold this morning. But it got up to 76 today with rain. Warmer than they predicted. Should be back to cool tomorrow, damp in the morning, but we are predicted sunshine by Wed. ... and much cooler.

Nothing but rain here with a few sun breaks thrown in to keep us on our toes.

Oh boy!  You won't even want to cook or eat turkey dinner, will you Tina?

It is chilly here.  In the 40s. But it could be worse.  They are saying 2 inches of snow tomorrow and the high on Thursday will be 34.
