Our weather is going nuts. It's 20*, still no precipitation and the wind is blowing at 32 mph and gusting to 42 mph. At our old house, the curtains would move with the wind and the whole house would sigh and groan. Here, though, it's just windy outside. The house sits here, the wind blows, and the curtains stay still. Weird...

Sun is shining here and it's 60* outside with calm winds. They are saying the rain will move in tonight but I hope they miss it. Supposed to be raining tomorrow as well and that will make for a wet Christmas.

We started getting the rain earlier today. We are supposed to have thunderstorms, winds and tornado threats in the wee hours, and be cleared out sometime in the morning to have a sunny afternoon for Christmas, albeit cooler.

it's 33 degrees here and we are expecting rain. I hope it continues to warm up and the rain comes. I want a clear drive way. I so want to get out.

It's 56 here. I have a lake in my back yard due to all the rain we got yesterday/last night. I will not get much warmer today as the cold front is moving in, but the clouds are moving out. Tonight's low is supposed to be around 35.

Much colder and you will be able to ice skate in your backyard lake, Barb.
It is still windy and cool here. I doubt it will reach the 60 projected. I am glad I am not going anywhere.

Rain, rain, and more rain. If it keeps this up I better start on an ark. We've had 1.54 inches today. Lakes all around us. The neighbor's place that has the horses, really looks like a lake with the grass so short from them grazing.

It's supposed to move on out tonight and I hope it does. I am tired of the rain.

I think we got rain last night, heard gutters dripping,. Then the snowplows went by. Looks like 3 or 4 inches out there. If it started as rain theres gonna be lots of ice under that snow.

51°F nice but crisp. My rain gauge says we got a little more than 2 inches of rain Friday.

They said on the news that the record for Dec 25th was broken with 3.06 inches. We only got about 1.5 inches but that was enough. We are about 6 inches above our average rainfall for 2009 right now.

It's 57° right now, but it's a cool damp 57. It's overcast and been sprinkling off and on. But we aren't supposed to get any real rain amounts until Tues. or Wed.

We have gotten just in the month of december 6.20 inches, which is 4.66 inches above average. I have no ide where to find tha stats for the year. But we have definately had more rain than normal, at least for Dec.

Our weather year is from July 1 through June 30 of the next year. So we are '09-'10 right now. And above is so much better than below average here. Even though sometimes it seems to be too much above. I'm not sure where we are in our average but probably doing pretty good. It is the snow pack that seems to count most for saved water. Most of our rain just goes straight to the ocean.
