This really isn't a project
« on: Jan 08, 2010, 07:43:10 PM »
just a decorating question.

What should I put on this little table?

I had a little pretend Christmas tree on it during the holidays.  I don't want to put a lam because I have another table in the foyer that has a lamp on it.

That is really pretty, Sheri. I would keep it simple with a vase or something that won't detract from the piece it is.

That is beautiful!  I agree with Tina.  Something simple that doesn't take away from the table itself.  A vase or a decorative bowl with rattan balls in it or something.

Beautiful piece, Sheri. I would leave it bare... :grinnnn:

It is beautiful. I agree with the others, something simple.

I would go with a solid planter in the same color as the base of the table and the frame of the mirror and place a tall skinny plant in it... or maybe a scheffelera.  An elegant but simple plant.

We are all under the same stars, therefore we are never far apart.

If it is a flat surface in my house, it collects stuff. Good luck with elegant and simple.

This little table probably won't collect much.  It's right at the bottom of the stairs and we've usually dropped our junk somewhere before we get here.

Ginger sent me this link.  I think the shape of this vase is right for the spot and I have flowers I can cut in the yard all year long.

It is beautiful indeed. I couldn't resist putting something on it. Don't know what thought nothing really fancy.
This is me ->?

The minute I saw your table I thought of a brushed chrome vase in a curved "V" shape.  But then I am the worst decorator in the world.

Well the vase in the link above is on back order and "maybe" will ship in 3 months so I'm going to look else where.
