Last night I finished........Three Weeks With My Brother by Nicholas Sparks.  Good book.  I didn't know if I would like it because it is a memoir but I really enjoyed it.  Today I started...A Can of Peas by Traci DePree.

I'm reading The Story of Edward Sawtelle.  So far it's good.

Finished A Can of Peas and then read Dandelions in a Jelly Jar.  Now I am reading Aprons on a Clothesline.  I didn't realize these books were a series until I started reading but Aprons on a Clothesline is the final one in the series.  I have enjoyed them.  They are pretty true to how life is living here.  The author lives here and she wrote them loosely based on our town.

I just added the series to my hold list at the library Jessica.

I finished up the latest in my quilter series... The Quilters Homecoming.  Reading Nicholas Sparks The Last Song.

I'm reading  Olive Kitteridge.  It's about  a retired school teacher and unofficial town crier in a small coastal town in Maine.  I just started it but so far it's good.

I read about 1/2 of the Edgar book and liked it then it got not so good so I stopped.  Maybe I'll pick it back up later.

It is very neat.  She has quite a few other books that she wrote too.  I may read them eventually too.

I hope you like them, Triss.

Sheri, let me know how the book is when you are finished.

I finished Aprons on a Clothesline.  It was good.  I am still unsure of the ending though.  It left a lot to be desired.  Supposedly it was the last book in the series.  Maybe she will come out with another.  After following the same characters through 3 books I was sad to see it come to an end.  I will have to look through my collection tonight to see what looks good to read next.

I will be picking up that series tomorrow Jess.  It arrived at the library and will be nice to have for the long car ride this weekend and while sitting at the pool and beach with the girls.

Jessica, I am loving this book series!  Finished up A Can of Peas with a bunch of tissues and am well into Dandelions in a Jelly Jar... I can tell that I will not get a lot done around the house until the series is done.

All finished and I really enjoyed the whole series though I was a bit disappointed with the ending.  It was as though she decided that this was the last book and she better wrap a few things up quickly and did in an abrupt manner.  Too bad she is not continuing the series.

I think the ending left a lot to be desired.  Do you think she was leaving her options open in case she decides to continue the series??  I was a bit disappointed with the ending too although I thoroughly enjoyed the books.

Well her options are open but on her facebook page she said she is not continuing the series.  Bummer too cuz the series was awesome.

I only found her personal page on Facebook and I would have to add her as a friend.  Is there another place that you are seeing her on there??
