You must have lots of seedling trays started Penny?

I plan to plant everything I can this year...I need to rent a tiller and expand .

I bought 2 of those portable greenhouses, and i have been starting things in stages......i briught home some of those produce trays from the grocery store, the ones that are coated in wax and are fairly big, and i have everything in those, so its easy if i want to move them in or out of the house.

I wish I got a little of your heat and early spring. We can only plant outside at the end of the third week in June...still early for seed starts yet.

With the wonky weather that we have had, i will be making sure that its past frost before anything goes outside, its normally the May 24th weekend, but we shall see  :ThumbUp:

You could start peppers and tomatoes now  :ThumbUp:

Ya'll make me tired. I'm a pot planter. I started my stuff a while back. I have tomatoes, cukes, Squash, Zuchinni, brochilli, pepper and corn. I don't know how the corn will do. I planted it in my earth pot. I guess I'll see. So far it looks good.
This is me ->?

It will be pretty and be a ready-made Fall decoration if nothing else, Bonnie.

That is a lot more than I have started Bonnie!!

My peppers and tomatoes are doing well.  I'm thinking of putting an herb garden in on the West side of the house.  It would be just outside the door that leads to the kitchen.

I planted 2 rows of potatoes yesterday.  It's in the 80's so I hope they'll do well.

Well, all I'm actually doing is sticking stuff in the ground.  I can't tiller or hoe.  I tried to hoe and can't do it one handed.

It has been here too, Sheri, but he said he plants them every year at that time.  I would say if we can plant them then that you can plant them quite a bit sooner than that but I don't really know anything about it.

Taters are easy. and yummy!
Put in some lettuce seeds over the weekend. If ya can wintersow them I figured, why not? Also sunflowers, since the ones the squirrels plant in my garden in the fall seem to do better than the ones I plant in spring.

Sunflowers.......i think i am going to move mine to the side of the house, and that way, if the squirrels make a mess of them, you cant see them, they demolished the ones in my garden last year.
