Pickle plant question
« on: Mar 20, 2010, 08:11:20 AM »
Marton has a friend at work who loves pickles. If ya remember a couple summers ago I made refrigerator garlic dill pickles. Well I sent a couple to wayne & he loved 'em. I told Marton to tell him if he grows 'em, I'll pickle 'em. Well now Wayne wants to grow a cucumber plant. He's never grown anything to eat before. He's all excited & nervous.
What is the easiest, fastest, disease resistant-est variety you know of?
Marton told him 'ya have to start it from seed. No buying starts even' His wife said 'why don't ya just go to the store and buy kirby cukes and have her pickle them?' (who else wants to smack Waynes wife?)

Look, I know the supernatural is something that isn't supposed to happen, but it does happen...RZ
