And two more pictures.

Unnamed Ground Cover

Lithodora 'Grace Ward'

And so far that's it for my garden.  Well except that every time I buy daffodils I get a different species.  But there others are hanging their heads and I didn't want to sit on the wet cold ground to get their pictures.

I saw some Lithodora at Lowe's the other day.  Pretty.

Tam, I've got a piece of the spirea that has showed up in the midle of a rose bush.  If I can get it pulled up with a root I'll send it to you if you want.  I'm not sure how it will do in your winters.  It's evergreen and needs full sun.

I would love to have it.  but be careful trying to get it.  We don't want to damage the rosebush or you.

I love roses but I don't love weeding around them.  I suppose that's why I haven't gotten any yet.  That and they can be expensive.  Plus the fact that I couldn't keep up with the weeding last year with just the 6 beds I have.  Six beds!!!!!! where did they all come from?  Wow, I guess I've been alittle busier than I thought.

I've got purple vinca and it's hard to keep under control and it will choke out everything I plant around it if it gets out of control, even verbena which grows like a weed.

It doesn't look like vinca to me. It looks more like a viola of some kind. Like violets.

I thought the same thing at first but if you look a little to the right of the violet you will see a purplish blue flower that looks like a vinca flower.  Maybe it's both.

I just don't see vinca leaves.  Major or minor.

I would say no., the leaves on mine are almost lily pad round in shape.  I can't remember much more about them without going out to look and it's raining so I don't want to do that.  I took the picture right after I had raked up the leaves that were covering them, at least for the most part.  So the leaves aren't standing up and open like they usually are.  I'll try and get a better picture when the weather clears.

Tammy, is your groundcover phlox or forget-me-nots.  I don't think either of those are quite right.  I have the same stuff and it will NOT go away.  Been fighting it at the other house for years...

I don't think it's phlox because there aren't clusters of flowers.  Phlox has clusters doesn't it?  As far as forget-me-nots it could be.  If it is I think Kitty isn't going to like the burrs I've heard you get with that.  I'm just looking for something that will choke out the weeds between the specimen plants in the tree bed.
